Hello crafty friends!
It's time for my Tuesday card that I've made for 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store.
This week I inked up the beautiful Mermaid Maisea from The Greeting Farm. She last swam onto a card about a year ago and I went in an entirely different direction this time around. I pulled a tropical scenery stamp set from my stash and used an ombre ink pad to sponge on a sunrise, or sunset I suppose. Once I had it done the old sailing adage came to mind, "Red sky at night, sailors delight. Red sky at morning, sailors take warning". So unless any passing ship wants to get marooned with Maisea here let's hope that this is a sunset sky, LOL! Though if you ask me, I certainly wouldn't mind getting lost in this tropical paradise with its magical mermaid lagoon. I'm also entering this into the "summer fun" Farm Fresh challenge that is going on over at the TGF blog this month. :)
And don't forget that we just started a new monthly challenge over on the 7 Kids blog so there is plenty of time to get creative. Kelly has an awesome $20 gift certificate up for grabs and you could be the lucky winner!
