It's an exciting day here on the ol' blog because today is release day at Purple Onion Designs! This new release is called A Special Day and it really is special because it celebrates 10 years of Stacey Yacula designing her signature cute critters for Purple Onion Designs. Whether you are celebrating birthdays, weddings, graduations or retirements, this adorable collection of stamps has a little something for everyone.
For my card today I have made a long slimline birthday card featuring several of the sweet woodland critters taking part in a birthday parade. Jamie, the mouse leads the way while Petunia, the skunk carries a waving banner. Jessie and Jaye, the two little birds follow by both land and air while Bugsy, the bunny brings up the rear with his gift in one hand and balloon bobbing along behind them. They are marching through a deep woodland forest that I colored in by hand, on their way to the big birthday bash. :)
