Unicorns and glitter...

Hello again!

It's a review weekend at Sweet November and I will admit that I've had this enchanting little unicorn from the Fairytale Unicorns clear set stamped and sitting on my desk since its release last spring. I even had both her and the fairy silhouette from the Royal Treatment set already masked off, just waiting for a background to be added. So I figured this was the perfect time to finally add some background images and get this magical scene all colored up. I thought it would be pretty to have the long willow branches from the new Background Builder: Day at the Park set framing the unicorn and fairy so I stamped them on wither side of the card. Then, because I had stamped the fairy in a light aqua ink I used similar colors on the unicorn as well. This lead to the over-all blush and aqua palette that I ended up using throughout the rest of the scene as well. If you are interested in watching this scene come together you can find the short reel on my Instagram and a longer speed coloring over on the Sweet November Stamps YouTube channel. I'm just so pleased to finally have this cutie on a card of her own.

Don't forget that I will be coloring Live this morning at 11am PST on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page... who knows, maybe I can find another scene on my desk that needs some attention. LOL!

Later gators! :)
