Good morning!
It's been a busy couple of days around here but I am excited to say that I was able to go see the new Hobbit movie yesterday. OMG, I loved it even more than the first one! Finally seeing Smaug in all his fiery glory was so freakin' cool. The only bad thing is having to wait a whole year before the third and final installation finally rolls out... le sigh... le boohoo. :)
I also got a card done yesterday using the Snowball Laugh stamp from CC Designs. I still love these little Laugh cuties and am sad that there haven't been any new ones added in awhile. But I couldn't resist inking up Snowball one more time and pairing her with these great Sweet Water papers. Sweet Water is one of the very first paper companies that I remember buying when I started scrapbooking back in '02. In fact, I'm sure I still have some of the old 8.5x11 sheets that they made in the beginning. Then they quit producing paper products a few years back and I was totally bummed so imagine my excitement when they teamed up with Bazzill recently. Happy days are here again, LOL! Anywho, it was a blast working with their fab papers again.
Well, I'm off to work... enjoy your Friday!

Blackbird singing in the dead of night...
Hello, hello!
Well my friends, can you believe that September is here already? You know that means it is time for some brand new stamps to preview over at All That Scraps! :)
We are kicking things off with fun new fall characters from CC Designs. I just had to ink up this adorable new Scarecrow Laugh because I'm a huge fan of these little Laugh girlies. Scarecrow even comes with a blackbird buddy that I stamped up a few times... aren't they cute? Their big ol' beaks really make me smile for some reason. I came across this scrap of October Afternoon paper that made for a super quick and totally perfect background scene and as always I pulled all my Copic colors from that sheet. A small cluster of embellishments and this card was done and I love it!
All of the new stamps and dies will be available for purchase in the ATS store on Thursday, September 6th at 9pm CST. And if you head on over to the ATS blog, not only will you find loads of inspiration from my teamies but there is also a chance to win some of these new stamps as well!
Later gators!

Is a Witch Laugh a cackle?
Hello, hello!
I hope that your week is off to a nice start. So far September has given us some of the highest temps of the 'summer' here in my neck of the woods. So even if I am ready for fall and all of the Halloween fun that comes with it, it sure seems like Mother Nature is taking her time changing the seasons this year. Oh well, there's no rule saying that I can't start making holiday cards in 90 degree weather. ;)
You may have already seen today's card on the ATS blog during previews last week and it features the newest addition to the Laugh Line of stamps by CC Designs. She is one stylin' Witch let me tell ya and I couldn't wait to share her here as well. When I started putting this card together I wanted to break away from simply using another coordinating Halloween line of papers so I challenged myself to pull papers from my scrap bags. They didn't have to be Halloween patterns just the color combo of orange, purple and green. This ended up being a lot of fun to do and heck, I used up some scraps which is always a bonus! ;)
I also used the new CC Designs Spider Chain Cutter not only as a little border but I cut the cute spiders apart to sprinkle, or should I say creep, across the entire card. Heeheehee!
Well, whatever kinds of cards that you are currently working on I hope that you get plenty of time to craft today.
TTYL! :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- BoBunny (green, purple, grey), We R Memory keepers (orange), Creative Imaginations (orange text)
stamps- CC Designs (Witch Laugh and Halloween sentiment)

CC Designs Cutter- Spider Chain
buttons
Sharpie white marker
Sakura clear glaze pen
Copic Spica glitter pen

A Laugh just for you
Good morning!
I'm just popping in with a quick post as it feels like I've got a million and a half things that all need to get done today. Ok, ok, maybe I'm exaggerating just a bit... its only a million things. ;)
But I wanted to get this final Laugh card up on my blog before all of the September ATS sneak peeks start up later this week... man, where did this month go!?
So by now I think you know that I'm a big fan of these new girlies and little Flower Laugh here is high on the top of my fave list. I just think she is adorably sweet and her curly-q pigtails are fun with a capital 'Awww'. :)
I totally raided my scrap stash for this card, mixing up different patterns from different companies. Sometimes this can be a bit tricky for me but I really like how these papers play together. Plus I figure even if they were a bit kooky looking they would still fit the mood of these quirky Laugh cuties, so why not go for it?
Alrighty, well I hope to see you back here tomorrow for an always enjoyable Sweet November Spotlight on September's Guest Gal!
XOXO

Smile and Laugh
Hello friends!
I hope that you are having a lovely weekend and getting lots of fun crafty time in. :)
I'll be at work today but before I head out I wanted to share another of the new Laugh girls from CC Designs. This is "Laugh" and again, I made this card for the CHA show booth back in July. I was so excited to work with these new images from Christine as soon as I saw them! Now I keep pestering her to add more to the collection 'cause I'm totally addicted to their quirky, cartoony, cuteness! And those perfectly coiled curls are so much fun to color... they remind me of when I was little and watching "Little House on the Prairie" after school, I was always so jealous of Nellie Olsen's bouncy curls, LOL!
Yes, yes, I'm a complete nerd and I totally own that. ;)
Anywho, back to the card... I paired this little cutie up with some Doodlebug prints that I actually recycled from cutting up one of their old catalogs. I love me some Doodlebug but they have a very specific look that can be hard to work with some of my stamps. But I'm happy to report that they are a wonderful match for Laugh here. I keep saying it but I think it is because she looks like she could be a cartoon character. There's also another Kid Quote stamp on this one (I'm addicted to them) and I accented the card with one of the Laugh Line Postage Stamps which I think just adds to the cuteness.
Well, I guess I should go... thanks so much for stopping by today! :)

Have you seen a butterfly laugh?
Howdy folks!
Well, it's another Tuesday and with this month winding down I am starting to get anxious for the return of my all time fave show... sing it with me now... Glee! :)
My fellow Gleek and bloggin' buddy, Kadie, turned me on to the Glee Project reality series this summer which turned out to be one of the extra nice benefits of finally having high-speed internet. I've been watching the shows here and even though the finale took place this past Sunday, I have to wait until Thursday before I can watch the episode online and see who won (because I refuse to peek early and spoil the surprise). ;)
I have my favorites and hopefully one of them will win and then I will be really excited for the new season to start already!
Ok, ok, enough TV talk... onto today's card. This is actually one of the new Laugh girls that I colored up for the CC Designs booth at Summer CHA. I know that I've mentioned before how these new cuties have quickly become my faves of Christine's designs and I can't wait to watch the line grow and expand with all sorts of new Laugh characters. This card features Butterfly Laugh and with her arms spread out wide like that she looked to me like she was wanting to give someone a BIG hug... thus the sentiment I paired with her.
I also used one of the new CC Designs Daisy Chain cutters up along the border. Because I had so much color and pattern going on with Butterfly, the embellishments and the background paper, I kept the border kinda tone on tone with just a bit of inking on the edges to help it stand out. All in all this card makes me smile... hope it makes you smile too. :)
TTYL!

Laugh a little...
TGIF my friends!
I'm heading back to the ol' grindstone but I hope you are getting to enjoy a few fun filled days full of sunshine and perhaps even a bit of crafting. :)
Did y'all check out the new Laugh line of stamps from CC Designs during preview week? If not, I highly recommend you run on over to the ATS store and check them out. If you ask me, Christine has really outdone herself with this new collection of stamps... they are SOOOO stinkin' cute! Don't get me wrong, I love her Swiss Pixies and Sugar Plums but these new Laugh girls are my all time faves of all Christine's wonderful designs. Each one has such character and personality and I totally think that they look like they could be their own cartoon on a channel like Nickelodeon. :)
My card today features Bee Laugh and her cheeky attitude with her cute little tongue sticking out really cracks me up. And as soon as I laid eyes on this sassy girlie I knew just the papers to use with her. This was the last line of Heidi Grace papers that I ever found once I heard that she wouldn't be designing scrappy products anymore (that was a sad day I tell ya) and the bee theme really looks like it was made to go with Bee Laugh. I couldn't resist fussy cutting one of the bees out of the paper so that she would have somebody to be blowing raspberries at... talk about cuteness!
Ok, time for me to scoot my boot... have a great one! :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- Heidi Grace (floral/bees), KI Memories (black)
stamps- CC Designs (Bee Laugh, Laugh Lines Postage and Butterflies Postage)
