Keep your fin up...

TGIF!

The new release from Reverse Confetti included this sweet Mermaid Kisses set and since I had a gift certificate to their store burning a hole in my pocket I just had to order her right away. This little set has so many great sentiments as well as all the fun scene builders. I did wipe away the noses from both the mermaid and jellyfish before stamping but that is completely personal preference. Talk about fun to color up, now I think they make for a super cute underwater scene and card. All I had to do was mount them on a scalloped rectangle die and keep the rest of the card super CAS. I gotta say, I really love how this one all came together.  :)

Alrighty folks, enjoy the weekend!

Mermaid kisses...

Hello, hello!

So sorry about yesterday's lack of post... there was a last minute change in the TGF release and I had to pull my card for a later date. I didn't catch the info 'til the morning so there was just no time to make a replacement card. But now I'm back with another mermaid swimming on to the scene. She's another one of the retired Elisabeth Bell mermaids from Sweet Pea Stamps called, Little Splash. I love how it looks like she has swam right up onto the beach and is just chillin'. So of course I had to create a scene to reflect that. Out came the Distress Inks and a bit of watercolor beach and sea, a Sharpie white marker provided the sea foam and clouds perfectly. Then I die cut a few starfish to tie it all together with the great sentiment that I got recently from Reverse Confetti.  :)

Ok friends, I'll see ya tomorrow!
