It's time for a new monthly MOOD BOARD challenge over on the 7 Kids Customers Create Facebook page. The great thing about mood board challenges is that they are so open to interpretation, you can pull inspiration from the over all theme or really narrow it down to a single photo or color scheme presented. This month's mood board is full of fluffy woodland critters and while it may not seem obvious at first glance, I was inspired by the photo of two bear cubs for my card today. The bears had me looking through my stamps and I came across this sweet girl with her teddy bear friend and new they were perfect. Not only did I have my bear but I could make another fun Christmas card. The original On Top Of The World image only has a small portion of the brick wall shown and since I knew that I wanted it to span the width of the card I wiped the ink away from either end before stamping and then drew in the rest of the wall using a Copic multiliner black pen. The trees in the background were stamped in using the Mix and Match Tree Trunks and small leaves set and I used a white Sharpie to add 'snow' to the bare branches. Now I personally don't recommend sitting on a bunch of wet snow, but it doesn't look like this little gal minds at all, LOL!
