I'll be gnome for Christmas...

TGIF!

It's a big day at Sweet November Stamps, not only did we just add the companion release to the very popular Gnome for the Holidays digis called I'll be Gnome for Christmas, but we are also the sponsor of the day in the DigiMojo Facebook group's Winter Wonderland event. There you will find a brand new Christmas digi that only DigiMojo group members will be able to grab for FREE and Annabel will also be running a game all day with a chance for one lucky crafter to win the entire I'll be Gnome for Christmas release! So if you haven't joined the DigiMojo group yet, today is the day. It's a growing community of fellow crafter's who love and appreciate all that digital stamps have to offer.

So after we released Gnorbitt, Gnigel and Gnewton on Sunday there was a bunch of you asking, "Where are the lady gnomes"? Which totally got my creative wheels turning, figuring out how I could create a similar look without the beards which are such a big part of those characters. It was a fun challenge and I hope you all like Gnorma, Gnann and Gnetty.

For my first card I have paired Gnome Gnann with the new Woodland stamp set that I actually designed for Dreamerland Crafts. The three trees up front and the little squirrel are all part of this clear scene building set and as you can see they work really well with stamps other than just Dreamerland. I continued this frosty, frozen wood further into the distance by coloring in more simple trees and Gnann looks quite at peace there.

For my second card I colored Gnome Gnetty with her stocking into a cozy, fire lit den. Staying warm up in the frozen north is quite important and Gnetty makes sure that she always has a warm and welcoming home for any visitor that may drop in... even Santa.

As I mentioned at the top of the post, Sweet November has also released this sweet and sassy Candy Cane Fairy today. And while she is available for purchase at any time DigiMojo group members can grab her for FREE today only.

Ok, be sure to go check out the Friends of Sweet November Stamps group on Facebook for even more I'll be Gnome for Christmas inspiration from Melissa, Tee and our amazingly talented guest designer... Christine Copic! I will also be coloring Gnorma Live later this morning at 11am PST on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. :)
