The SN MerMay clear release is here!

It feels like we've been waiting forever for the MerMay clear release at Sweet November Stamps and the big day is finally here! With eleven new stamp sets being introduced, this is our largest release to date. Old favorites, like the Merwee and Mermee collections have new additions and there are new faces and styles to fall in love with too. Fans of our background builder sets won't be disappointed either, especially if they want to create quick and easy beach scenes. My first card features the 3x4 Journey set as well as the older Horizon Lines: Under the Sea set. Journey is a cute little mermaid with a head of hair as wild and free as she is. She loves exploring the ocean floors for all kinds of treasures and on this day it looks like she has come across a message in a bottle. She's not quite sure what to make of the strange object but it seems special enough to be added to her collection. 

Next we have this beauty from the Mermees are Back set paired with some of the larger seagulls found in the Horizon Lines: Seaside Cliffs set. The sentiment is also included in the Mermees are Back set and it actually inspired this stormy sea background that I colored in. It may seem kind of silly that she is shielding herself from the falling rain considering mermaids live their lives beneath the waves. Perhaps it's the seagulls and not the storm that this particular mermee is worried about dropping something wet into her glistening hair, LOL!

 

Finally for today, I've also made a long slimline card featuring Atlantica and the Horizon Lines: Seaside Cliffs set. She swam in with the high tide and now she is basking in the warm sunlight. Sheltered within this rocky cove, Atlantica can completely relax and not worry about any silly humans disturbing her time out of the water.
