Mahalo...

Hey, hey!

I couldn't let this summer go by without getting one of the pretty Hula Girls from Sister Stamps onto a card. This particular beauty is called Pualani Hula Girl 1, and I got her from Hanko Designs awhile back but you can also find her and her friends at Impronte d'Autore. I also pulled seashells from Hula 2, Hula 3 and Hula 4 to add some more color down in the sandy beach. For her dress I did a bit of masking so that I could use the hibiscus stamps that come with Pualani to create a dramatic floral print that would match the flower in her hair. By stamping the flowers in a brown ink it helped make it look soft and fabric like. She definitely looks like island royalty.  :)
