All the treats your bag can hold...

Good morning!

For my review weekend Live this past Saturday I stamped up this fun trick or treating scene using a mix of old and new stamps from Sweet November. The costumed cuties are from last year's Halloween is Back set and I paired them with the Front Porch Background and Front Porch Halloween Decor sets that are part of this year's Harvest of Haunts release. I opted for a square 5x5 card this time around to give me a bit more room for all of the Halloween decorations I wanted in this yard. The color suggestions from my fellow crafters were all fantastic and I just love how this spooktacular night scene came together. The glow from inside the house is so warm and inviting, helping to make this story less scary and a lot more sweet. :)

Have a great week!

A little witch in all of us...

Hi friends!

It's a review weekend at Sweet November Stamps and the team and I are continuing to share cards using the new Harvest of Haunts clear release. I figured this was the perfect time to share the card that I colored Live during the review/preview weekend on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. This lovely modern day witch is from the SN Gals Owens Sisters set and she is standing in front of the Front Porch Background that I decorated with a couple of images from the Front Porch Halloween Decor set. The black cat and stack of brooms add just the right amount of spook for this subtle Halloween scene.  :)

I will be coloring more Halloween cuteness during my Live later this morning at 11am PDT. Hope you can join me!

Toodles!

Let's rake up some fun...

TGIF!

Here's the final card that was colored during this past weekend's marathon of Lives on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. I saved this trio of friends from the Fall Gathering set for the Sunday afternoon grand finale because any time you have multiple characters it takes longer to color. In the background I added the tree from the Front Porch Halloween Decor set but kept the rest pretty wide open to save time with a simpler scene. We ended up creating a veritable human rainbow with three different skin tones represented on this card and each of their outfits turned out super cute as well. With the ground fairly clear of any stray leaves, we decided that they must be at the end of their work day so we captured them at that lovely golden hour just as the sun starts to slip below the horizon. Speaking of horizons, once the scene was all colored I ended up adding the flock of flying geese from the Birch Trees Horizon Lines flying high in that golden sky. It really was a wonderful way to wrap up an amazing weekend full of coloring and crafty comradery.  :)

Later gators!

The best season of all...

Hello, hello!

Are you ready for another card that was colored up during this past weekend's marathon of Lives on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page? This magical fairwee is from the new Autumn Wonder Fairwees set at Sweet November Stamps and we colored her and her mouse friend Sunday morning. They both look to be having a wonderful time as they race through the fall meadow scene that we colored in. The large mushroom behind them is from the older Harvest Wishes set and I love that we went with golden yellow caps on them because it just adds to the cheeriness of the scene. More fall colors were added with the distant trees and our Fairwee's pretty plum cloak. After the Live was over and I was putting the card together, I couldn't resist adding the speech bubble with the "squee!" sentiment because it was just too cute with their joyful faces.  :)

Hope your day finds you just as happy as these two, LOL!

May all your witches come true...

Hi friends!

I've got another card to share that was colored up during this past weekend's marathon of Lives on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. This crazy, wide-eyed witch is from the new Toil and Trouble set at Sweet November Stamps and we colored her into this spooky night scene on Saturday afternoon. She has a glorious head full of wavy hair that is so much fun to color, especially when you go with something like the pinky/purple hue that was suggested. I paired her with the spell book, table and mice from the Sorsha's Spell Room set and the window and spider web from the Halloween Room Add-on to give her the perfect place to call home. After the Live I added a sentiment from the Lovin' from the Coven set in a pretty purple ink to match our witch's dress.

Thanks for stopping by!
