Hi there!
I was looking through my stash of Stacey Yacula stamps from Purple Onion Designs to make a quick Valentine and as soon as I saw this fun Up and Away hot air balloon stamp I thought it would be cute to have the little bunny and mouse release heart confetti as they float by. So I stamped them in the upper corner of this mini slimline card front at a slight angle, this adds to the sense of movement that I wanted to capture with the balloon. The tiny hearts were added by hand using copic markers and afterwards I masked off the balloon and passengers before creating the cloudy sky
background using my Copic airbrush
system and a cloud stencil. The light colors don't show up so well in the photo but there are several cloud banks that can be seen in person. Unfortunately, as I'm linking here in the post, it looks like the Up and Away stamp is either sold out or retired as I can't find it in the store anymore. But the Essential Thoughts Sentiment set that I also used is still available.
Take care!
