Good morning!
Let's start the week off with some adorable skating penguins from the Penguin Winter set at Whimsy Stamps, shall we? This super cute set, illustrated by Crissy Armstrong, has been in my stash for longer than I would care to admit, but with a new year there was new opportunity to finally get these penguins nice and inky. I've been focused mostly on drawing these past couple weeks, relying on cards that were already made for my recent posting. So when I found myself with some coloring time yesterday, it was this set that caught my eye. It comes with some great builder elements as well and I used them to create the edge of the ice pond and add trees to the scene. Everything came together pretty quickly, making for an enjoyable afternoon of coloring and card making. Plus, it feels pretty great starting off the year showing a neglected stamp set some love. ;)
