Love was made for you and me...

Good morning!

It's review preview day over on the CCD blog and we are shining the spotlight on the new Valentine Birds and Bees stamps from Sweet November. For my card I used The Birds once again and this time around colored them up to look like a couple of Goldfinches. Love is definitely in the air with these two as they go about their aerial courtship. I'm still a fan of pairing yellow and grey together so I grabbed this great print from the Crate Love Notes paper pad. I think it makes for a lovely alternative to the traditional reds and pinks of most Valentine cards.

Ok, don't forget to check out the CCD blog for all sorts of lovey dovey inspiration from my teamies today. And all of the January stamps can of course be found right here in the CCD store! :)

For Goodness Sake...

Good morning!

It's review preview day over on the CCD blog and we are shining the spotlight on the different animal stamps that were added this month. For my card I used a couple of the kittens from the Sweet November Midnight's Christmas set. I fussy cut the one with the ornaments so that I had just the kitty with his paw up and once I paired him with his pal there it looked like he was saying, "Hey! Save some milk for me!". LOL!
It was too cute of an idea not to pursue so I totally rolled with it and made the entire card into one big scene. The window die from Memory Box helped create the look of a quaint Christmas kitchen overlooking a snowy neighborhood and the Doodlebug papers even had those cute frames that I fussy cut and 'hung' on the wall. Mr. Tabby and Mr. Calico look right at home here if you ask me.

Ok, don't forget to check out the CCD blog for all sorts of warm and fuzzy inspiration from my teamies today. And all of the November stamps can of course be found right here in the CCD store! :)

Happy Holidays...

Hello again!

It's review preview day over on the CCD blog and we are shining the spotlight on the newest additions to the CC Designs family. For my card I used the darling Fuzzy Boots Birgitta and have her sitting on the new Snowy Wall scene builder stamp. I'm still doing good with my goal to cut into all my Christmas paper pads... this one is Winter Tortellini from Jillibean Soup and it gave me such a fun color palette to play around with. The little touches of pink really suit Birgitta as she rests from all her winter play just outside her happy neighborhood. Can you believe there are absolutely no embellishments on this card? It must be having that wall there because once I got it and Birgitta onto the card base I just couldn't think of anything else that wouldn't detract from the scene if I added it.

Don't forget to check out the CCD blog for loads of winter inspiration from my teamies today. There is all sorts of cuteness going on! :)

Peace on Earth...

Good morning!

Gosh, I feel like I keep apologizing for my absences around here but I promise this last one was for a really good reason. I had a deadline that almost slipped my mind jump to the front of my to-do list and if I wanted there to be any new Sweet November stamps in the next few months I had to focus and get busy. ;)

Once I had that done though I was eager to get back to stamping, coloring, and creating. Since we had another review preview coming up today it was the perfect opportunity to get this Drozy's Darlings Giving Angel onto a card. She is such a sweetie so I really wanted to keep her card sweet and simple as well. This scrap of winter berry paper had just the outdoorsy look to set the scene for this little angel's snowy wonderland. I couldn't leave her without a friend though so out came the dies and felt and before you know it I had a birdie to keep her company. :)

If you have a minute, you'll want to check out the CC Designs blog for more wonderful review preview cards from my teammates today... it's a whole lot of Christmas eye candy! And all of the October release stamps can be found right here in the CCD store

Merry Little Christmas...

Olo!

It's Wednesday and I have a card to share for today's review preview over at CC Designs. :)
I've been coloring this Merry Christmas stamp off and on for a few days because there is quite a lot going on in this super cute scene. Henry and Twila are busy decorating the tree with a bit of 'help' from their four-legged friends and I think I must have been having flashbacks from my own childhood memories of Christmas because I gave these kiddos the same brown shag carpeting that I grew up with, LOL! I didn't even have any papers in mind as I worked on this image which is unusual for me. But I felt pretty safe, considering I have a lot of Christmas paper scraps to pull from and ended up with a fun mix of prints to highlight Henry and Twila's Christmas joy.

There is even more holiday inspiration to be found from my fellow CCD teamies over on the CCD blog today so be sure to check that out as well! And of course all of the new release stamps can be found right here in the CCD store. :)

Well, I'm off to spend the day looking for a new clothes dryer... I'm tired of fighting with the current one to even turn on so wish me luck that I can finally kick it to the curb! ;)

Happy Birthday...

Hey there!

Wednesday brings with it another CCD review preview and today we are revisiting the circus themed offerings from the September release. I went with the digital version of Ellie so that I could blow her up nice and big for my card. The cute little panel in the Midway paper pad with the kids and soda vendor was my jumping off point and I wanted Ellie to dwarf them and be the star of the show. Plus the colors are so bright and happy that the whole scene looks like a celebration.
Arighty then, there is a lot more high flying fun from my fellow CCD teamies over on the CCD blog today and you won't want to miss that! :)

Autumn greetings...

Olo!

It's review preview time over on the CC Designs blog and we are shining the spotlight on the Autumn themed stamp offerings from the September release again. I just had to color up Playful Henry from Roberto's Rascals because this stamp is too much fun. I ended up inking just the leaves a few different times and stamping them in different directions to give Henry even more fall leaves to romp around in. And once I had everything colored I grabbed my trusty Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to sponge on a quick cloudy blue sky. Everything else on this card comes from the Happy Harvest Doodlebug collection. I've loved their designs for years and I think their papers just keep getting cuter and cuter. :)

Don't forget to check out the fab cards my fellow CCD teamies have created over on the CC Designs blog. All that Autumn inspiration will have you pulling out the sweaters and craving pumpkin spiced everything, LOL!

Alrighty, thanks for stopping by and I'll chat at'cha later!

I'm batty over you...

Long time, no see!

Well, I know that it has been quite the hiatus from posting here but I am thrilled to report that my mom's recent bout of pancreatitis is finally behind us. She is back home and doing well so the whole fam is happy about that and hopefully (fingers crossed) this will be the last of it all. I am soooo ready to jump back into things and get creative again. :)

And I'm doing just that with a new card for the Sweet November August review preview over on the CCD blog. When I drew Tish it was with the intention of her working together with the first little SN vampire to hit the scene, Thurston. So I've been dying to get this pair on a card together ever since her release. Now I'm just trying to figure out if they are out vamping each other or if they are in the middle of some Halloween tango, LOL!
There are many more spooktacular cards to be seen over at the CCD blog and of course the August stamps can be found in the CC Designs store, here.

Thanks for hanging in there with me during the absence, I'm excited to see what everyone has been up to lately!

Oceans of love...

Olo!

Sorry to be MIA for a couple days. I had a deadline that needed to be met and I'm happy to say I got it all done. Then when I did make it into my crafty room I actually spent my time cleaning... gasp! What can I say, Oreo was pretty insistent about getting his spot back. ;)

It's all good though because I'm back just in time for another review preview Wednesday on the CC Designs blog. This week we are shining the spotlight on the new Sweet November mermaid set and Hanalei is swimming back onto the scene. This time I paired her up with some papers from the Atlantic collection that I just adore. I may or may not have more than a couple sheets of that doodled wave print because I love it so, but at least I finally cut into one for this card. I'd say that Hanalei approves of her doodley new home as well. ;)

Be sure to check out all the fintastic cards my fellow CCD teamies have created over on the CC Designs blog. It's like catching a wave of pure inspiration over there! :)

Thank you for being you...

Hello again!

Today is Wednesday and that means it's review preview time over on the CC Designs blog. We are shining the spotlight on the new Drozy's Darlings Summer Day set and I inked up the sweet little pixie with her picnic basket loaded with goodies and ready to go. Something about this pretty gal with her ruffley tiered dress had me going with a softer color palette and I new that also had to be flowers. So this scrap of aqua roses was just what I needed. Now she has a lovely garden to luncheon in and I've got a finished card. ;)

Don't forget to check out all the lovely cards my fellow CCD teamies have created over on the CC Designs blog. If you didn't already have plans to enjoy some time outside, their fabulous cards will definitely get you in the mood to enjoy a summer day. :)

A melon thanks...

Hello!

It took a good chunk out of my day yesterday but I was super productive and got a lot of what I most needed to take care of crossed off my to-do list. Yeah me! I even made time to stop at the car wash while I was out and about because poor W3 was looking a bit grimy. I'm happy to report that she's nice and shiny once again, LOL!
So that means, besides the usual chores around the house I'm free to play today. I really want to color and I am also going to clean and purge the crafty room. I promised to give my neighbor a bunch of unused paper since she works with kids at the local elementary school in an afters art program and they can always use supply donations. Talk about a win/win... much needed space and organization for me, pretty papers for the kiddos. ;)

Alrighty, onto my card for the day... it's review preview time over on the CC Designs blog once again and I inked up the new Swiss Pixie Watermelon Abigail. I knew that I had this ooooold watermelon paper in my stash and I had to pair it up with Abigail. I can't even tell you how many years this paper has been sitting and waiting for some love, so it was great to finally get it on a card. I like to think that it was just waiting for this sweet as can be stamp to come along. :)

Well that's all I got folks. There are loads more cute cards featuring the July release over on the CC Designs blog so check that out. And I'll see ya manana!

You rock...

Good morning!

Today's the day! I've finally got a day off and I'm heading to the movie theater to see Star Trek this afternoon... so excited. I don't get to go to the theater often, the last movie I went to was The Hobbit, so this is a real treat. No doubt I'll be splurging on some popcorn too, LOL! And since the weather has been a bit grey and stormy I don't even feel bad about spending a few hours in the dark. ;)

As for my card today, Wednesday means review preview over at the ATS blog and this time I've colored up Li'l Lolita Bikini Lylah. I was tempted to go bright and bold with some of the summer papers I've already used this past week but then decided to switch things up with a softer color palette. The Atlantic 6x6 paper pad fit the bill and I really liked how the addition of some darker navy blue really pulled everything together with that summer time vibe I still wanted to convey. As I flipped through the papers I spotted this print with all of the circles and my first thought was that Lylah's beach ball would fit right in with that design. And the bonus was I didn't have to go searching for a sentiment because there were a bunch already printed right on the paper. Sweet! :)

Be sure to check out what the rest of the CCD team has created with the new Lolita and Drozy stamps for June by hopping on over to the ATS blog.
