Oh the places you'll go...

TGIF!

I've been really wanting to make another card for the Stamping Bella "spring is in the air" challenge and I figured it would be fun to combine a bunch of different stamps to make that spring time scene I saw in my head. So I pulled out the Summer Backdrop, TT Fairy Sign and TT Fairy Garden sets and got busy masking. Then it was all about the pretty pastel colors to really sell this as an enchanted springtime fairy land. I challenged myself with the glow of the rising sun and trying to capture it on all the different elements as well as the shadows it would throw. I'm very pleased with how this all turned out and it feels good to get so many stamps inked up on one card. :)

Well that's it from me this week, have a crafty weekend my friends!

All is calm, all is bright...

TGIF!

I'm playing in this week's Bellarific Challenge today and it is an easy one... 'free for all'. Now that we are officially in December and all things Christmas I figured it was the perfect time to get Tiny Townie Rita and the Reindeer on a card. I fell in love with this image as soon as it was previewed and I knew that I had to add it to my stamp collection asap. There is just something about it that feels like it is telling a story so I wanted to further that idea with a colored in scene behind them. I envisioned Rita and the Reindeer riding through the silent woods on a moonlit Christmas Eve. The magic of that really hits me in the feels. :)

Ok I'm outta here... see y'all again Monday!

Happy Halloween...

TGIF my friends!

I'm wrapping up this week with a card for today's Free Form Bellarific Friday challenge. I inked up Tiny Townie Patricia Loves Pumpkins and totally borrowed the Copic color combo for those gorgeous white pumpkins, or spooks as we call them in my family, from the uber talented Alice Wertz. I love how this simple change from traditional orange pumpkins really alters the entire feel of this card with a pretty elegance. I also grabbed the Set of Pumpkins and Little Bits Haunted House Outdoor Decor set to complete this riff on the Little Miss Muffet nursery rhyme.

Alrighty folks, have a fab weekend!  :)

One of the sweetest people around...

TGIF!

I'm ending the week with a card that I've made for today's Bellarific Challenge which is a photo/color inspiration. The photo showed a rainbow of bright, happy colors so I grabbed Tiny Townie Sammy is Sweet to make a colorful birthday card. Once she was colored up I masked her off and stamped the streamers behind her. I don't know why the red ones are reading as more of a pink in this photo but in real life they are a better match to her dress. Alrighty friends, I've got to run... got a busy weekend ahead of me.

Thanks for stopping by and have fun!

Find your paradise...

TGIF!

It's another Bellarific Friday card for me today. This time around I inked up Tiny Townie Frances Loves to Float and wiped away the watermelon slice from her hand before stamping and replaced it with the sunglasses from the set. As fun and fancy as Frances is looking I knew floating in a pool wouldn't be good enough for her so instead I grabbed the Paradise Palms stamp set from Newton's Nook and set the scene for her to be relaxing in the warm ocean waters off some tropical island. Hopefully the current is carrying her back towards land rather farther out to sea, LOL! Alrighty, like I said, this card is my entry into this week's Free Form Bellarific challenge and now it's time for me to get ready for work.

Have a great weekend everybody!  :)

Have a beachin' day...

TGIF!

Well I can't seem to keep away from these Stamping Bella Littles because here I am with another card using a couple of the new stamp sets. When I saw the photo inspiration for this week's Bellarific challenge was an aerial view of a beach with tons of sun umbrellas this scene popped into my mind. So I grabbed the Palm Tree set and the Umbrella set and got to work masking and stamping until I had these three cuties all in a row. Once that was done they kind of reminded me of myself and my sisters all relaxing at a beach resort so I colored them up to look like us. If only we could really get away, LOL! Instead it is time to head to work, c'est la vie.  ;)

Hope your weekend is a relaxing one!

Happy Easter...

TGIF everybody!

I was debating on just what stamp would be on my final Easter card for 2017, up until the day my Stamping Bella order arrived. I mean, just look at this cutie... how could I not get Ella Loves Easter on a card before the big day? So when it came time to create yesterday I looked to see what this week's Bellarific challenge was and got to work. It was a great sketch which made putting the card together pretty darn quick. This left me plenty of time to not only color up Ella but also give her a peaceful valley to live in. Simple and sweet, just how Easter should be, LOL!

So happy Easter to all my crafty friends who are enjoying the holiday this weekend. Sneak a couple of jellybeans for me!  ;)

Sending you a hello...

TGIF!

It's another Bellarific Friday and I am playing along once again. This week the challenge was a photo collage inspiration with a color scheme of sunshine/steel/candy/cream/marine. Because I really wanted to color up this beautiful Lilac Garden Girl my 'candy' aka pink is a more purpley pink but I think it still works. Lilacs are my most favorite floral scent, in fact I have a large Lilac bush right outside my front door and I can't wait for those few weeks in the spring when I can step outside and breath it all in... so wonderful. But I digress, I wanted to keep my card design light and bright, much like the inspiration photos. So I went for a white background simply embellished with a few stitched die lines and a pretty fancy foliage sentiment from Papertrey Ink that I dressed up with some 'lilacs' that I just dotted in with my Copics. Like I said, simple but I think effective. :)

Ok friends, that's it from me this week. Hope you have a creative weekend!

You brighten my days...

Hi there!

The snow has finally given way to rain in my neck of the woods and it is feeling like spring is slowly on its way. Rather than getting down about the grey, wet days I'm trying to pull inspiration from my circumstances and color up some of the fun rainy day stamps that I have in my collection. First up is Tiny Townie Rachel Loves the Rain from Stamping Bella. I love how this girl isn't afraid to dress up in her ruffled skirt and go dance in the rain. I even added actual glitter to the lacy edges of each tier of her skirt so that I could enter this card into the current Bellarific Friday Challenge. I swear it is super sparkly in person but I just couldn't capture that in my photo unfortunately. The bright pops of yellow show up though and I think it makes for a great contrast to the cool blues and greens in the paper and the rest of the image.

Well that's all from me today... thanks for stopping by!  :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink

It just blooms...

Good morning!

I'm just catching up this morning with a card that I entered into this past week's Bellarific Friday 'free form' challenge at Stamping Bella. I really wanted to color up another of the new Tiny Townie Garden Girls so Lily of the Valley jumped on my stamping block and got inked. I actually have a whole flower bed beside my house that is filled with Lily of the Valley. Seeing them along with the Crocus and Hyacinth is always a sure sign of spring. That must be why they are a favorite flower of mine. I wanted to stay true to the simplicity of the flower but I also really wanted to get a bit of pink on my card too, so I figured why not just color a hazy pink background behind her? And I gotta say that I'm kinda diggin' it. ;)

Later gators!

Must be Autumn...

TGIF!

It's been way too long since I've made the time to create a card for the Bellarific Challenge over at Stamping Bella. So when I found myself with a bit of extra time yesterday I knew just who I wanted to stamp up. Tiny Townie Autumn Loves Autumn is probably my favorite Tiny Townie from the last release so she had to be the first to get on a card. Talk about fun to color, with all those fall leaves adorning her the possibilities are endless. The card design is a simple CAS layout that tends to be a go-to of mine... especially when I don't want to fussy cut a large image. This time I embellished with paper leaves instead of paper flowers and a sprinkling of wood dots that I think kinda look like acorn tops. Have I mentioned lately how much I love this time of year and everything that comes with the season?!  :)

Anywho, early day of work for me today so I should get moving.
Enjoy the weekend!

Happy Birthday...

TGIF!

Another Friday and I've gotten another card made for the Bellarific challenge. This week's theme is, "sequins, buttons and dots" and considering I've got a pretty good stash of all three I had to give it a go. Now recently I've been creating a lot more cards with colored backgrounds or watercolors rather than relying on my beloved stash of pattern papers but yesterday I really wanted to cut into some pretty papers again. So I grabbed the Cake Walk paper pad from October Afternoon and had a lot of fun layering and grabbing ribbons, buttons and dies. I wanted to keep the card an A2 size so I decided to do a bit of altering to the cute Tiny Townies Birthday Party stamp by not inking up two of the girls and drawing in the little bit of missing skirt and balloon. This easy change opened up a lot more space for all the fun goodies I wanted to use on the card as well... plus this single birthday girl is still pretty darn adorable.

Alrighty folks, enjoy this wonderful weekend!

A blessing...

TGIF!

Ok, I am reeeally squeaking this card in under the wire. It's Bellarific Friday and I didn't want to miss out on making a card for this week's washi tape or ribbon theme. So I inked up Anabelle Needs Your Address and used her on a card rather than an envelope. Then I grabbed two of my favorite ombre washi tapes to pull all my Copic colors from for Anabelle's shirt. It's a simple design but I'm always happy when I dust off the washi and actually get it on a card. ;)

Well I gotta run, thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

Celebrating...

Good morning!

Today I've made a card for this week's Bellarific Friday Challenge which is Birthday Wishes. Tiny Townies Birthday Party was the perfect stamp and I was excited to have the perfect reason to finally get them on a card. I stamped these party girls on some vintage cream cardstock using a dark brown ink then proceeded to color them up in some bright, happy colors. Then I masked off the balloons and stamped on these cool streamers to make the scene extra festive. A sprinkling of matching sequins and this birthday card was fun and done.  :)

Happy Easter!

I told you I was filling up this weekend with some special Easter posts because the holiday totally snuck up on me this year. Today I inked up an adorable new Tiny Townie from Stamping Bella called Becky Loves Bunny Wobbles. I just got her about a week ago and I couldn't make her wait a whole year before getting on a card. So here she is with her fluffy friends, so happy to have found a home. And since this week's Bellarific Challenge is 'free for all' I am entering my card into the mix!

Hope your Easter Sunday is extra sweet! :)

Missing you always...

Good morning!

My friend got me the new Hello Gorgeous paper pad from My Mind's Eye last week and it didn't take me long before diving right into it. I love these papers so much, the retro vibe of these floral prints totally speaks to me. I paired them up with this super cute Tiny Townie from Stamping Bella called Amanda is Awesome. She just looked like a spring beauty to me in her little sundress and pigtails. Then I grabbed some Prima flowers that matched the paper so that I could enter this card into this week's Bellariffic challenge to 'add flowers'. Now Amanda has an entire garden to sit back and relax in. :)

Well thanks for stopping by... laters!

Sending you happiness...

Hi guys!

It looks like I'm right back to more winter inspired cards today but I really wanted to participate in this week's Bellariffic Challenge. It is a color combo themed challenge of dark teal, aqua, red, grey and white which seemed totally wintery to me. Plus it gave me a chance to stamp the gorgeous Uptown Girl Quinn and her Boots and get her on a card before the seasons really change. With a bit of fussy cutting I was able to give Quinn a cool winter woodland background to set the scene using an old favorite paper from Echo Park. Then all I had to do was cut a couple die cuts in red for a bit of pop and this card was done. And have I mentioned how nice it is that the Bellariffic challenges now use an inlinkz so I don't have to wait for Fridays to post my Stamping Bella cards? Yea, it's the little things that make my day, LOL!

Toodles!  :)

Merry little Christmas...

TGIF!

And you know what that means... another Bellariffic Friday challenge! This week we had a photo of a holiday table-scape to pull inspiration from. It was so pretty with its 50s retro pink, teal and cream that I just had to play along again. I chose to ink up Paisley has a Prezzie and colored her up to match my papers, going heavy on the pink. Then I added some cool tinsel twine to mimic the texture of the bottle bush trees in the photo, plus it helps add a Christmas vibe to an otherwise very non-traditional colored Christmas card. I know I say it a lot but I really do love how this one came together... pretty, pretty, pretty!  :)

Ok, I'm off for a day of fun and coloring with friends. Have a great weekend my friends!

Filled with Joy...

TGIF my friends!

The Bellariffic challenge for this week was 'anything goes' so I didn't want to miss an opportunity to get a card made for it, especially when I still have a couple Christmas Tiny Townies waiting in the wings. I decided to color up the super cute Jenny Feels Joyful and rather than coloring the birds to look like chicks I turned them into penguins instead.  I paired them all up with some retired Making Memories goodies that I've been hoarding. MM always had the best papers and embellishments... it is still hard for me to believe that they aren't in business any more. I love how it all came together for a classy little CAS card.  :)

Alrighty then, have a wonderful winter weekend!

Merry and bright...

TGI-Black Friday!

I will be heading out soon to try and get some shopping deals today but I wanted to share this card that I made for Bellariffic Friday before I go. The theme for this week's challenge is 'Holiday Wishes' and I inked up Valerie with Pup because these two totally crack me up. I can actually relate to this scene of bundling up to take my own pup on his daily walks... even when the temps stay below freezing all day. I paired Valerie up with this fabulous Christmas lights paper from Simple Stories and it is just the perfect background. I know that it is another rather CAS design but I figure why fight it when the results make me this happy?  ;)

Ok, well have fun this weekend and be safe if you are braving the crowds!  :)
