Hello, hello!
It's time to start previews for the September stamp release at The Greeting Farm and today is all about the handsome Holiday Ian. Ian is a clear stamp set that also comes with this great sentiment and a snowflake accessory stamp. He's so dapper looking in his fashionable peacoat and scarf, I couldn't resist going with some masculine plaid paper to suit his look. Cutting the snowflake border die out of gold paper just adds to the classy traditional Christmas look that I was going for. Now you'll want to hop on over to the TGF blog to see the fab cards my fellow Farmers have made with this happy holiday dude. :)

A wicked Halloween...
TGIF!
After yesterday I figured why not end this week with another Halloween card. This time no altering involved just giving this little vamp ghostie from the Peek a Boo set some place spooky to haunt. To do that I grabbed the cool Hallows Eve die set from Papertrey Ink 'cause I really like how the entire scene is contained in a circle. I added a few vampire bats to keep Drac company and I did change up the sentiment just a bit by placing 'wicked' over 'magical' because I felt it fit better. Another super CAS but still kinda playful card... totally makes me smile. :)
Ok, time for me to hit the road. Have a funtabulous weekend everybody!
Supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink, Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
stamps- The Greeting Farm (Peek a Boo set)
ink- Memento tuxedo black and Hero Arts red
Papertrey Ink Hallows Eve die
Tim Holtz tiny attacher
Copic markers:
ghost- G20, 0
cape- N5, N7, N10, R46, R89

Trick or treat...
Hey there friends!
It's my turn to post on the TGF blog and I've got a fun Halloween card to share. It's no secret that I'm fond of altering and mixing things up on my stamps to make them work for many different types of cards. So when I saw this great Halloween under the sea post by Maria I was totally inspired to borrow elements from the new Peek a Boo set and change up my own Halloween characters. I wanted an entire mob of little trick or treaters for my card and to create that I first printed out the Hallo Hero, Hallo Heroine and Hallo Bean digital stamps to the same small scale as the Mega Mini Amazing girls. Hero and Heroine I used as is but I borrowed Hallo Bean's witch hat and kitty so that I could instead dress up the pig-tailed cutie from the Mega Mini Amazing set. The mummy is an old favorite from the retired Spooktacular set and he fit right in with the rest of the kiddos... gotta love that small size. Then I just stamped up the pirate ghost and witch ghost from the Peek a Boo set and continued to dress up my girls. The short haired Mega Mini got the pirate hat, eye patch and hook while I snagged the broom to add to the witch and complete her costume. All together they look ready to travel up and down the streets of their neighborhood trick or treating until every last candy bag is full. This is why I love altering stamps so much, LOL! :)
Stay crafty my friends!

You make every day special...
Howdy folks!
Have you been following the Stamptember celebration over at Simon Says Stamp? Well if not then you should really check out all of the special deals and exclusive collaborations that are happening there this month. Today's special collaboration will make every Greeting Farm fan extremely happy especially if you love the uber adorable TGF unicorns. There is a brand new set called Mini Pony Party and you can only get it for a limited time exclusively at Simon Says. They only make a certain amount and when they're gone, they're gone for good so don't hesitate too long if these cuties are on your wish list.
This happy party goer is from the older Hello Unicorn set and she can't wait to have her new sisters join the fun... 'cause you know I am SO adding Pony Party to my TGF collection. I decided to use Hello on a birthday card and paired her up with a Simon Says birthday sentiment set as well as this cool paper from Simple Stories that did all the work setting the scene for me. That's a big part of why I love these little sweeties so much, they make for easy, quick and adorable cards. :)

Smile...
Hey there!
Today I am playing in the current "shine on" challenge over at The East Wind. The last time I joined the fun over there my card was all about a cool night sky scene so this time I wanted to go in the other direction and create a bright sunrise to shine down on the lovely Beautiful Angel digi stamp. Isn't she special? I got Beautiful Angel because she totally reminds me of my sweet cousin Alli and I even colored her up to have the same blonde hair and blue eyes. The cozy turtleneck sweater has me itchin' to go through my own wardrobe and start pulling out all my cool weather clothes. I created the sunrise with an MFT stencil and a handful of Distress Inks... what a cool effect for very little work, LOL!
Alrighty then, thanks for stopping by... have a great day!
Supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink and Copic X-Press It

Boo...
Good morning!
It's been a super busy Labor Day weekend and I've not had any time in the craft room. So instead of a new make, here's another card that I made for the Halloween release at TGF using the Peek a Boo set. This ghost pirate has to decide whether he wants to haunt the creepy fortress or the spooky ghost ship... decisions, decisions. LOL!
Alrighty, that's seriously all the time I've got this morning. Enjoy the extra day off if you've got it and I shall see ya tomorrow! :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- Echo Park (Pirate's Life), KI Memories (stripe)
stamps- The Greeting Farm (Peek a Boo set), October Afternoon (Treasure Map set)
ink- Memento tuxedo black
CC Designs haunted castle die
Knot & Bow twine
Copic markers:
ghost- V0000, BV000, FV2
hook- C1, C3, C5
hat- T5, T6, T8, T10
mustache- C3, 100

A+ teacher...
TGIF!
When I checked out what the new SOG Facebook challenge was and saw that it was school themed the timing was too perfect not to play along. I still had a bunch of school type papers and goodies sitting on my desk from yesterday's card so why not use up a few more before cleaning up? All I had to do was find the perfect SOG cutie to be the star of the show. So I hopped on the computer and when I scrolled past Geeky Mae I knew I had a winner. By enlarging her to 'big head' size she went from quirky co-ed to cool teacher just like that. And yes, I used the same sentiment stamp two days in a row but I like how the A+ tag adds to the overall message.
Okey doke, have a fun weekend my friends! :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- K&Co (ledger)
digital stamp- Some Odd Girl (Geeky Mae)
stamp- Mama Elephant (words defined set)
ink- Versafine onyx black

Tim Holtz tiny attacher
Copic markers:
skin- E000, E00, E11, E04, R00, R20
eyes- G21, G43, E31, E34
lips- RV42
eyeshadow- W0, W1
hair- E21, E23, E27, E49
clothes- W2, W4, W7, E81, E84, 0
