You're always on the nice list...

Hello, hello!

It's my day to post over at the Greeting Farm blog and now that Halloween has come and gone my focus has shifted decidedly to Christmas! When it came time to choose which stamp to ink up I was really wanting to tackle a more full sized image. So I pulled out one of my rubber stamp binders and came across these cuties from the Winter Kindness set... perfect! I just adore these little My Kids with their marshmallow faces and round little bodies, they are so much fun to color. Since there was no way I could choose between these two I decided to have them both share a card. So I grabbed some new Doodlebug Christmas Town papers and proceeded to color match their outfits to the bright colors in the paper. The end result is a super cheery Christmas card to brighten the upcoming holiday season. :)

Stay crafty my friends!

Be Kind...

Hey there!

Yesterday I shared my card using the fabulous Uptown Zodiac Girl Scorpio and today I have transformed her into classic fall beauty. This alteration was a bit  involved though not difficult to do. First I wiped away the scorpion part of her braid and drew in a new end to it. Next, I wiped away her long shawl and drew in a bunch of lines to create a color blocked sweater and pants ensemble for her to wear. Rather than having to draw in all new legs I simply did some creative cropping that totally works. Then I colored in a pretty fall scene for this new Scorpio gal to live in and finished off the card with some old Basic Grey paper and gold sequins. I gotta admit, I kinda want a sweater just like hers now, LOL!

Stay crafty my friends!

Make a wish...

Good morning crafty friends!

I'm rolling right along with my personal challenge to create birthday cards for each of the Stamping Bella Zodiac Girls and I'm a bit earlier this month because my friend Jammie had her birthday the other day and I wanted to get this to her on time. This month is all about Scorpio and I will be honest, I'm rather partial to her considering she is my star sign too. Scorpio is the sign of the Scorpion. She is imaginative, passionate, subtle, persistent and intense. She can also be obstinate and unyielding. Her signature colors are crimson and burgundy, the glowing colors of passion. I love how slinky and mysterious Miss Scorpio is and I will admit that I think most of us born under this sign like to feel that we have a bit of the femme fatale hiding somewhere deep inside. I found the perfect paper in my stash to really ramp up the drama and razzle dazzle and you gotta admit, Scorpio sure knows how to capture the spotlight, LOL! ;)

Tomorrow I will have the altered version of Scorpio to share so don't miss that!

Nothing beats food and friends...

Happy Sunday my crafty friends!

I'm continuing my weekend posts with a decidedly kitchen theme, LOL! This time around I paired the My Kitchen set with the new Nom Nom Nom cuties. Is it really a surprise that these guys are chowing down on the greasy, cheesy junk food? From the looks on their little faces they are quite enjoying it too, LOL! The fun papers from the Doodlebug So Much Pun were also perfect for helping to reinforce the junk food theme. :)

Alrighty, off to work. See ya in 24!

I seized the wrong day...

Olo!

Just a quick little post to keep getting caught up on my extra Greeting Farm cards. I made this one a few month's ago combining this cute little cleaning lady from the Tiny Plans 2 set with the My Kitchen set. It seemed a natural mash up to me since I know my least favorite room to clean would be the kitchen, which when paired with this tongue in cheek sentiment, really makes me smile. I went with a fun kind of retro red and teal color scheme and the scallops border die added even more retro charm. All in all a fun card to brighten someone's day! :)

Enjoy your weekend!

Holly jolly...

TGIF my friends!

The Sweet November 'Home For The Holidays' digital release wraps up today but there is still plenty of fun to be had. This card came together during the two live coloring videos yesterday and we will be doing more live coloring in the 7 Kids Customers create page today as well. This father/daughter holiday shopping duo features Kris and Holly standing outside the new Department Store Window background builder. It was a fun idea that Kelly Neis came up with and it definitely creates a different kind of scene to play around with. :)

Alrighty, I gotta go prep for another fun day over on Facebook... hope to see you there!
This card finds the entire Home For the Holidays family gathered at the door step, just waiting to come inside and get home around the fire. I created this scene by merging and pairing them with the Our Door is Always Open digi set from last month's release. :)

Supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink and Copic X-Press It
digital stamps- Sweet November (Kris, Holly and Department Store Window background builder)
My Favorite Things A2 stitched rectangle stax set 1

Sweet November "Home For The Holidays" release!

Good morning friends!

November first is here which means it is time for a new Sweet November digital stamp release. The theme this month is "Home for the Holidays" were we will meet a festive family of four ready to celebrate the season with those they love most. A cute little snowman is also making an appearance to warm hearts on cold winter days. And considering this is our namesake month I couldn't let it pass without a bit of Autumnal magic as well.

Say hello to Chillburrr! This cool cutie is here to visit for as long as the temperature hovers around the freezing mark on the thermometer. And for the next 24 hours members of the 7 Kids Customers Create page can grab him for FREE!
Holidays at home spent surrounded by family and friends can't be beat, there is a reason so many Christmas songs opine on this very sentiment. Kris and Mary have packed up the kids and driven over the river and through the woods to celebrate the season with those they love most.

Speaking of the kiddos, Holly and Jack are super excited for Christmas Eve and the annual reading of the 'Night Before Christmas' by Pop Pop and MeeMaw. Playing with cousins after enjoying a feast at the kid's table then settling down and waiting for Santa to add his gifts beneath the tree.

Finally as a special November treat we just had to return to Sweet November Land and meet Queen November herself. She reigns over all the magical inhabitants of her land with grace and loving kindness. The little fairy tot with her is actually an exclusive digital stamp that only those who entered cards into the October Sweet November challenge will get until November 2019 when she will finally be available to everyone. She's just the first exclusive incentive to get everyone posting and sharing their cards so if you missed out this time be sure to join the fun this month!
