Hello, hello!
I made this card a couple weeks ago for a good friend's birthday and I just now realized that I hadn't shared it here yet. Shame on me, I know! So this sweet digi was a freebie from A Day For Daisies some time ago and I think she is called Dandelion Fairy, though I can't find her in the ADFD store. I'm such a sucker for fairies with dandelions, I can still remember being a kid and blowing the seeds off a dandelion just like this, hoping that my wish of the moment would magically come true. Unfortunately I never did get my own pair of fairy wings but I have a feeling that this lovely little fairy will be getting everything her heart desires. I printed her out nice and big so that she would be the star of the show and I kept the design very clean and simple. A quick addition of a sentiment, a sprinkling of sequins and this card was was done. :)

This past Thursday I was watching Project Runway All Stars and their challenge was to create an Ath-leisure look. This was new to me but basically it's high end active wear that can be worn outside the gym. So imagine my delight when immediately afterwords I got the mail and this awesome Anya was my April stamp from the TGF Super Secret Stamp Club. She is called Relax Anya but I think I'm going to be calling her Ath-leisure Anya, LOL! Seriously, she looks like a stylin' runner in her leggings and artfully layered tank and t-shirt. I wanted to make her top shirt special with a cool print so I grabbed a couple of the small accessory stamps from the Glitter Bomb set, masked off her arms and neck, then stamped them on in some bright neon ink. I dotted on some sparkle with a Stardust glitter pen for extra pizazz to complete the look. The motivational sentiment is also from the Glitter Bomb set and I really like how it plays off Relax Anya's strong, self assured pose.
Yep, this month's SSSC stamp is getting two big thumbs up from me, love her. :)

I'm getting this card into the current Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday challenge just under the wire. I couldn't wait to get my hands on the new fairies that were released last month and once they arrived in my mailbox I just had to get one on a card. So when I saw that the challenge was to make a CAS card this was the perfect time to ink up Tea Cup Fairy. Since I knew the overall design was going to be on the simple side I could really go to town with my coloring of the china tea cup without the card getting too busy. My goal was to mimic the look of Delft Blue china and I gotta say that I'm pretty darn happy with the results. To keep the card bright and happy I chose to accent all that blue with some sunny yellow hues and this little doll seems to be right at home in her cozy cup world. :)

From the look of things everyone is in love with Loveable Anya and I am no exception. I mean seriously, between her curly pigtails and that fabulous hat what's not to love? For today's card I wanted to color her up in some pretty Spring pastel colors so I found this happy paper from KI Memories to color match my Copics to. Her hat kinda reminds me of bubble gum now which is appropriate since Anya is as sweet as can be, LOL! I also used the new Say Bday sentiment set from TGF to turn this into a cute birthday card. Unfortunately both Loveable Anya and Say Bday are currently sold out but I'm sure it won't be long before they are both back in stock. :)

I really didn't want to miss a chance to play along in the current Some Odd Girl Facebook challenge because it is "anything goes" and it doesn't get any easier than that. Sweet Mae here was a recent purchase that I had printed out and was sitting on my desk just waiting to get on a card. She's so pretty that I knew I needed to find some special paper to pair up with Mae. It had to be feminine and soft but with a bit of quirk and edge. Luckily I came across this cool collage type print from Sassafras and it was perfect. After that all I had to do was add a few flowers and the card was done and I love it. :)

Hello, hello!
With the introduction of so many amazing new clear sets at The Greeting Farm I was inspired to go back into my stamp stash and pull out the very first TGF clear set that I ever got. I simply adore these three fairies from the Fairy Princess set, Chloe, Tink and Eva. Sure, I also have the original, larger rubber versions of these cuties too but there is something really special about these fairies when they are shrunk down... kinda like all the mini sets that were recently on pre-order. Which got me thinking about how awesome it would be if Marie came out with a new companion set of little fairies to go with these wee friends. Who else would love to see that happen?

Good morning!
It was a gorgeous weekend here in my neck of the woods, the sun was shining and it felt so good to just get outside and enjoy it all. Which made it hard to spend time in the crafty room if I'm honest. Luckily, I was pretty productive on Friday and made a card for the "Add Glitter" challenge that is currently going on over at A Day For Daisies. I printed out the lovely Delicate Fairy of Flowers digi onto vintage cream cardstock and colored her up to match this soft and subtle floral paper. It's always an experiment when coming up with the right Copics to match a certain shade and doing her dress is one of the rare times when I feel like I've nailed it on the very first try. I can't even tell you how happy I am with how she turned out. To fit the challenge I added Wink of Stella glitter pen to her wings and Sakura Stardust pen for the pixie dust floating around her. Unfortunately the photo just doesn't pick up the sparkle well at all, but I swear it is there. :)
