Keep calm and scary on...

 

Hello and welcome back to the fourth and final day of September previews at The Greeting Farm. Today we are wrapping things up with three new digital sets that are packed full of everything you need to create all kinds of spooky cute Halloween cards. First there is Trick or Treat 4 which continues adding more costumed cuties to the Trick or Treat clear series. Then we have Halloween Nite which is full of classic Halloween motifs such as jack o'lanterns, ghosts, spooky trees, crows, a scarecrow and the ultimate haunted house. And finally Hallo Sentiments makes adding the perfect greetings to your Halloween cards super easy!

My card today actually started out being inspired by this 'Keep Calm' sentiment, with the way the words are stacked I thought it would be cool to blow it up large enough to fill most of a long slimline card. Then any elements from the Halloween Nite set that I added behind the sentiment, I reduced the opacity of the line work to a light grey so the sentiment would still stand out. The Trick or Treaters, bats and pumpkin all stayed black and where layered in front of the lettering. This fun play in layering adds a lot to the overall design. :)
