First class friend...

TGIF my friends!

I made this fun faux post card for the Sweet November Stamps Instagram and YouTube hops last weekend. I wanted to show a different way to use the cute kiddos from the new Postage Pals: Landscape and Postage Pals: Portrait sets as well as a background technique using the Year Round Post Marks set. By masking all of the kids into the bottom left corner it just looks like they are popping into the scene to see what's going on. Even though the hop has ended, you can still go to the Sweet November Stamps YouTube channel and watch how I colored them all up and created that faux kraft card stock look as well. I hope you are enjoying the new release and I will be back tomorrow with a review card to share and a Live coloring on the Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page.  :)

Later gators!

Welcome, little one...

Olo!

I've got one more card to share that I made for the new Spring release at Stamping Bella. This adorable tot is part of the Baby Boy and Girl set and he had me reaching for my paper pads, searching for a fun print to pair with him, something that hasn't happened in a long while. I found this cute toy blocks print in an old Studio Calico paper pad and I pulled all of my Copic colors from it as I created the simple scene for little Baby Boy. I also went outside of my crafting comfort zone when I grabbed a large pennant shaped die for baby, rather than my usual decorative rectangles. It's a fun change of pace and I like how it shows off more of that cute paper too. The colors match back to the floral print dress that our quirky mom-to-be is wearing. The sentiment is part of the new Baby Sentiment set and I stamped it down low to help act as an anchor for baby and the blanket to rest on. A sprinkling of enamel hearts in coordinating colors and this clean and simple design was complete.  :)

Believe in magic...

Hi friends!

On Monday we released the third of four Fae-bruary Fairy digis at Sweet November Stamps, and this week lovely Blithe is accompanied by her friend Sprig. Along with each release I also do a Live coloring of the new image over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. I paired Blithe and Sprig with some peonies from the Dahlia and Peony Background set to fill in the foreground of the scene. In the background I did another take on the dreamy, almost water color like, enchanted forest. By keeping my coloring light and loose it just leaves and impression of trees and bushes and the blue sky beyond. If you are interested in watching everything come together you can check out the replay here. So be sure to check out , Blithe and Sprig and play along in the Sweet November Fae-bruary challenges.  ;)

Toodles!

Friendship warms the soul...

Hi there!

I made this card for the February PenPal swap that DT member Allison Cope hosts in the Friends of Sweet November Stamps Facebook group each month. Now that the recipient has gotten her card, I can share it here. The theme for February was Red and Pink or Friendship and I went with a friendship card. The girls from the Meet Cute set have gotten together for a cup of coffee and a chat session while enjoying a beautiful day in the park thanks to the Day at the Park Background Builder set. The blue sky and green trees really have me longing for a warm spring day and some good company myself. :)

Well, thanks for stopping by!

Flower Fairies wrap up...

Good morning!

We added the final two 2x3 Monthly Flower Fairies with the Fab Favorites clear release at Sweet November Stamps. February Iris Fairy and March Daffodil Fairy complete the set of twelve that we started last year. What a treat it is to finally have each month's birth flower represented in fairy form...I can't wait to start mixing and matching them all together!

February Iris Fairy is a sassy little fairy with a flamboyant flair just like the flower she represents. Her hair may be short but her mischievous streak is long, LOL! I colored her into a whole field of pretty purple irises and the sentiment is from the new Birthdays are the Best set.

March Daffodil Fairy is a flirty and fun little pixie with a cheerful disposition. Her ruffled dress and pretty petals sway and twirl as she dances her way through the field of daffodils behind her. Once again, I stamped together a sentiment using the new Birthdays are the Best set to pull the whole happy scene together.

Have a wonderful week!

Fab Favorites day 2...

Hey, hey!

The Fab Favorites clear release celebration continues today at Sweet November Stamps. This fun release of ten new stamp sets, including the final two additions to the Flower Fairies of the month series, as well as three new exclusive sequin mixes, has a little something for everyone. The shopping special for this release is spend $100 or more and you will get the 4x6 SN Gals Libby and Laura set absolutely FREE (while supplies last). And of course there is also FREE SHIPPING on all domestic orders over $75 and $15 flat rate shipping for all international orders over $75. We've also brought back the exclusive limited time digital bundle deal, so for this weekend only, February 15th thru February 17th, a digital stamp bundle that includes the entire Fab Favorites release will be available for $105. This is a very limited time offer and once the weekend is over there is no guarantee that it will return.

First up is the companion to the Spill the Tea card that I shared yesterday. This cute little mouse is dipping a sweet biscuit into her cup of tea as a special afternoon treat. Once again the new Tea Time sequin mix was used to add a bit of sparkle to this card.

During the afternoon Live at Adventures in Coloring with Amy yesterday we colored up these cute kiddos from the new Postage Pals: Portrait set. It was suggested that the gal with the glasses looked like she could be a teacher so we ran with that idea and created this fun classroom themed card. They are stamped onto the Waffle Flower A2 Postage Collage die and the postage accents are from the new Year Round Postage set that is also part of this release.

Finally, I've got one more sweet mouse card using the Spill the Tea set. This pretty tea time scene was colored during the morning Live yesterday. The lovely blue and lavender color combo that was suggested turned out to be wonderful inspiration for the floral motif that I added to the tea pot. A splash of lemon yellow compliments the cool hues and adds some cheeriness to the over-all design.

The Instagram hop is still going strong with all sorts of fabulous inspiration from the design team with a chance to win the entire release. Just search for the #sweetnovemberstamps account to get started. The winner will be announced on February 18th. And the Youtube hop starts this morning for another chance at winning the entire release! You can also check out all of the cards over at the Friends of Sweet November Stamps group on Facebook for even more inspiration from our talented design team members. I will also be coloring Live two more times today, first at 10am then again at 2pm PST on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page.

You can also find us on Instagram @sweetnovemberstamps and don't forget to use the #sweetnovemberstamps any time you share a card or project using SN images so we can see all of your beautiful makes!
