Old friend...

Hello friends!

I'm back with another Scenic Saturday card over on the Bellarific blog and this time around I've inked up the charming Bundle Girl Winter Friends stamp from the most recent release. Being a part of a holiday release both of these sweeties originally come with little holly on the top of their caps but because I was going for a more generic winter theme I simply wiped the ink away from the holly using a baby wipe before stamping. I also did some strategic inking with the Skating Rink Backdrop, only adding ink to the tree hillside and omitting the ice rink below, to help set this snowy scene. The color palette for the entire card was limited to a simple teal, gold and brown combination which helps create the quiet and thoughtful mood that I was after. To finish off the card I inked up this friendship sentiment from the Edgar and Molly Vintage Sentiment set in a dark brown that matched the Copic colors in the scene, keeping everything nice and cohesive.

Stay crafty bellas!
