Sunshine and good times...

Hey, hey!

It has been an absolute scorcher in my neck of the woods lately which had me dreaming of the beach and cool ocean breezes. While I can't make that a reality for myself, I could create this beachy scene using some cute critters from the Beach Play and Come on in sets from Hello Bluebird. I also wanted to pair them with the newer By the Sea background stamp and at first I thought I might be out of luck since it shows the water far in the distance and I needed it up close to put my critters in. As I started to shift the stamp around on my card stock it came to me that I could omit the top half of the stamp entirely and wipe away the water lines before stamping, leaving that small gap of sky peeking out beyond the sand dunes. Then I grabbed the fabulous little stamp that looks like waves lapping at the shore from the Beach Play set and repeatedly stamped it down below to create a new water line... perfect! Now these critters are happily enjoying their day at the beach and I still wish I could join them, LOL!  ;)
