Happy Fall...

Where you able to take advantage of the Fall Flash Sale that was running at Purple Onion Designs? I sure hope so, because there were so many cute images included in that sale category. In fact, this entire card was inspired by a browse through the sale section to see what fun stamp mash-up I could come up with to create a scene. I had always thought of the Old Betsy truck as a Christmas/Winter stamp so seeing it in the fall section inspired me to think of fall items this cute bear could be hauling. Right below Old Betsy were the Gathered Pumpkins and suddenly I could see what the entire card would look like. So I grabbed a sheet of Copic X-press It card stock and cut it using a mini slimline die from Pinkfresh Studio. I then stamped the truck using Memento rich cocoa ink, masked it off and stamped the pumpkins into the bed of the truck. Next I stamped the little trio of pumpkins from the Door Decor #1 set out in front of the truck before masking all of the pumpkins as well. Finally, I grabbed the larger of the cornfields included in the 2 Cornfields set and used the lighter Memento desert sand ink to stamp a continuous row of corn in the background. From there all I had to do was peel off the masks and start coloring. To complete the card I grabbed the small 'happy fall' sentiment from the Sweet Occasions Sentiment set and it fit the space I had left on the card perfectly. :)
