Hey, hey!
This is the last card that I colored during the Sea-sational MerMay release weekend of Lives over on the Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. The beautiful mermaid is from the Retro Pin-up Mermaids set and she is looking quite glamorous resting on the beach. The mangrove sunset scene all really stemmed from the initial color suggestion of green/blonde hair that was contributed by a fellow crafter early on. The peach and green combo in the rest of her ensemble had me thinking of southern bayou type waters. I think she is definitely pulling off the whole southern belle look with her flirtatious charm. We even had time to stamp the gull silhouettes from the Seaside Cliffs set into the colorful sky as a nice finishing touch to the scene. :)
