TGIF!
I had the day off yesterday so I was able to spend some quality time in my crafty room having fun. I really wanted to color up Lula again and this time make her nice and big so it would be her cuteness carrying the card design. I also changed things up by not coloring in a background and instead returned to my first love... pretty pattern paper. Not only that but I also had fun mixing and matching a handful of dies to bring this all together. It kinda feels like a blast from my crafty past and it couldn't make me happier. :)
Well, stay crafty my friends and I will see ya on Monday!

It's a beautiful day...
Hello crafty friends!
I was out on the town yesterday so I didn't have time to make a card, luckily for me I've had this one waiting in the wings since this past September. It's actually the card I made to try out for the current Greeting Farm team and I was able to use four different stamp sets on this one card and create a happy little neighborhood scene for these two cuties. The kiddos are from the Mega Mini Lift Off set and I like that even though they were drawn to have balloon strings in their hands it also looks like they are waving hello. The Main Street set is perfect for building a quaint place to call home and the hot air balloons from the Up set added a fun touch to make me smile. And the Hello & Smile sentiment pulled the whole design together. :)
Talk at'cha later!

Sending hugs...
Hello my crafty friends!
It's time for a new challenge over on the 7 Kids Customers Create Facebook page and it is "anything goes". I chose to ink up this darling Stamping Bella stamp called Tiny Townie Huggy Friends for my inspiration today. Considering the newest Bella release just went up for presale in the 7 Kids store it feels good to get these girls on a card before new cuties get added to my collection. I was also recently part of a Secret Sister Swap and my Secret Sister, Jammie, sent me these cool shimmer sprays from Lindy's Gang with a challenge to get messy with them. This took me way outside my crafty comfort zone until I got the idea to spritz some white paper flowers, turning them into colorful shimmering blooms which I then matched all my Copic colors to.
Now it's your turn to create something for our "anything goes" themed challenge. As always there is a $20 gift certificate to the 7 Kids store up for grabs and Kelly is adding fab new goodies every day!
Supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink and Copic X-Press It

Make history...
Hello, hello!
Well, I figured I had better get the last of my cards from the February TGF release up here on the ol' blog before previews start for March's release next week. Talk about cutting it close, LOL! Ironically this was the first card I made for last month's release because as soon as I got my hands on the How Rawr You set I envisioned this brontosaurus rising high above the tree tops with the little pterodactyls flying over head. I thought it would look cool to contain the scene within a narrow strip that would act kinda like a window into the past. Having some of the elements break that plane adds interest and a dynamic energy to an otherwise very clean and simple design. It isn't every card that turns out exactly how I picture it in my head but this one really did. :)
Toodles!

Hello my friend...
Good morning!
I recently came across these fun Lula digital stamp sets, over at Mo's Digital Pencil, where you can take them into a photo editing program and basically play digital paper doll. I'll warn you now, the fun of dressing this little cutie in all sorts of outfits is quite addictive. My last day off I spent a good hour or two dressing and redressing Lula. I have so many different versions of her to color now it's ridiculous. Considering how many larger versions I have of her it is kinda funny that in the end the first one I chose to color is where I paired her with the Mushroom Hut and she's just an itty bitty thing. Can I just say that I want to live in this mushroom? LOL! Anywho, don't be surprised if you see Lula pop up on my blog again sooner rather than later. ;)
Later gators!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It

Every part of your day...
TGIF everybody!
I'm closing out this week with another one of the extra cards I made for the TGF previews last month. This is the last of the cards I made using the Snuggle Is Real set and this time around I thought it would be cool for these two cuties to be out on a walk. To really help convey that idea I also grabbed the Beepin' Awesome set and stamped a busy road directly behind them. I like how it looks like everyone is busily going about their day while this little gal and her puppy pal are just strolling and enjoying the beautiful day. I even had a bit of fun tagging the delivery truck with the Greeting Farm name... I like to think it is packed full of brand new stamps and it is heading right to my door, LOL! ;)
Ok friends, I hope your weekend is full of crafty goodness!
See ya Monday!

Kind people...
Hey there!
I didn't have a lot of time to get crafty yesterday so I was really glad to have a stack of Some Odd Girl images ready and waiting to get on a card. Participating in the past two coloring challenges in their Facebook group has been a lot of fun and a big help on busy days. I had colored Beehive Mae back in December and as I flipped through a stack of scrap paper and came across this cool piece I knew she would be perfect with it. So I fussy cut her out and simply added Mae to the background. All I had to do to finish the card was find a great sentiment and add a few embellishments and it was done... easy peasy and just enough to scratch my crafty itch in a short amount of time. :)
Ok, time for me to get the day started. Catch ya on the flip side!
Supply list:
