Hello friends!
Sweet November has once again been invited to join the DigiMojo Facebook Group for another fun weekend event. This time around the theme is Midsummer Mushrooms and it inspired the newest Sweet November digital release. There are seven new mushroom sprites in the store and as part of our sponsorship of the event, Amanita is FREE to all DigiMojo group members this weekend only. Not a member yet? The first of the Midsummer Mushroom Sprites that I colored up is the tall and lovely Honeycup. Each of the sprites come with two extra mushrooms as well as a puny sentiment and here you can see all of them coming together to create the scene. I also added one of Yara's butterflies to give Honeycup something to interact with and add an extra pop of color.
Next, I colored up Morel Sprite. Morels just happen to be my most favorite mushrooms, at least for eating. As a kid I can remember going out to the apple orchard surrounding my home during the evenings and hunting for morels and asparagus growing among the rows of trees. Depending on how good the harvest was we would enjoy something special for dinner on those nights. Thus the asparagus stalks that I colored into the background of this sweet scene.
And finally we have little Pixie Cap Sprite. She's one of the smallest mushroom sprites but she has one of the biggest smiles. In this scene I've placed her in the center of a small ring of Pixie Cap mushrooms as she plays hide and seek with her fellow sprites.
