TGIF!
Once again I've pulled out another one of the Some Odd Girl images
that I've already pre-colored for past challenges since I had limited crafting time yesterday. This lovely mer is called Narmaid because the original image includes a unicorn/narwhal type horn on her head. Not being a huge fan of the horn I simply cropped most of it off using editing software then colored over the lines that were left using a dark hair color that would easily hide them. I wanted to play off her dark, ebon hair so the calico koi patterning that has a touch of black in it was a fun way to tie her look all together. For the background I inked up the sand castle and starfish included in the Salty Hair stamp set from Whimsy Stamps as well as the school of fish included in the Let's Be Mermaids set. I love that you can find all of these great under the sea images in one place now because Whimsy Stamps has a great selection of SOG digis. :)
Later gators!
