New release sneak peeks at Stamping Bella!

Hello again!

Sneak peeks for the Fall/Halloween/Christmas release at Stamping Bella start today. Over the next three days the rest of the team and I will be sharing cards using all of the new stamps that will be available for purchase on Friday, September 27th at noon EST. Today the focus is on the delightful new images by Amy Glatiotis
and I've got two cards that I've made.

This first one finds Fall is Fun Girl strolling through the park with her pumpkin spice latte in hand. The colorful Autumn leaves are falling all around her as she happily takes in all of the beauty of the season that surrounds her.

Next up is the Little Witch and her Pals, who is busy working a spell on her bewildered pup. They are also joined by a friendly ghost who seems very excited to have someone to fly around with. I colored them into a wooded scene full of Fall colors and finished off the card with a sentiment from the Spooky Sentiments set

Alrighty, now be sure to head on over to the Blogabella for even more new release inspiration!

You're eerie-sistable...

Hey, hey!

Today I've got a Halloween card to share that is both spooky and sweet. Li'l Grimmy is making a guest appearance in the Midnight's Nine Lives set from Sweet November Stamps. In this scene, he is holding little Midnight close as the ghosts of Midnight's previous eight lives hover and float all around them. Grimmy is working extra hard to keep this precocious kitten safe so that this ninth and final life of his will be a long and happy one. As I was coloring it was fun to not only give the ghost kitties and eerie green glow but to also extend that light with a phantom light swirling all through the scene. The sentiment is also from the Midnight's Nine Lives set and it really completes this tender yet nerve-wracking moment, don't you think?  ;)

Thanks for stopping by!

Hey Pumpkin...

Good morning!

Apparently I can't stop playing with the adorable squirrels in the Nuts for Fall set that can be found in the Fall Days Expanded Kit at Hello Bluebird. This time around I started with the Gallery Frame #5 slimline die and proceeded to stamp mini scenes into each of the three panels. The squirrel on the right was already holding a pumpkin so I added the large pumpkin with the sweet sleeping squirrel in the center, for it to lean against. Then to continue with the whole pumpkin theme I did some masking with the small pumpkin from the Fall Clean Up Crew set so that the squirrel on the left had his own too. With the pumpkin theme firmly in place it was only natural to use the Hey Pumpkin sentiment from the Cozy Season Words die set that is unfortunately already sold out. Then to fill more of the space on this long card I also used the Leaves and Gourds die set, coloring them with my Copic markers as well. So much cuteness!

Ok, have a good one my friends!

More magical potions...

Hello again!

I'm back with the remaining three Potion Labels and Bottles digis that make up the last Halloween release at Sweet November Stamps. We've returned to the witch's potion pantry for another look around and this we've found Ground Unicorn Horn, Mermaid Tears and Phoenix Ashes.

First on the shelf is this bottle of Mermaid Tears, a rare find indeed! Sticking with the curio cabinet background theme for this coordinating collection of cards I colored in dark wood shelving. And just like on the Basalisk card yesterday, I added Nuvo Jewel Drops, this time in blue, on and around the bottle so that our messy witch is at it again.

Next, is the Ground Unicorn Horn scene that we colored up during my Facebook Live yesterday. This one ended up being a bit different from my usual Lives because once I was done coloring we still had time to go ahead and add of of the extra details to the scene. So we ended up stamping, heat embossing and getting loose glitter all over my craft room, LOL!

The last potion bottle that was found way back on the highest shelf is the Phoenix Ashes. I chose to give the label a deep blue background because it is opposite orange on the color wheel, thus giving the design a high amount of contrast. For the fun ashy addition spilled out on the shelf I actually mixed some black and white flocking that I found in my stash, so that it is soft and fuzzy to the touch.

I had a lot of fun crafting with all of these potion labels and I can't wait to see what you all create with them now. Later gators!  :)

Ingredients for the perfect Halloween...

Hello friends!

We've got one final Halloween themed digi release for the year at Sweet November Stamps and this one is all about those magical ingredients one would find in any respectable witch's spell room. The Potion Labels and Bottles digis feature a set of four bottles in various shapes and sizes as well as six individual labels to choose from. In this collection you will find, Basalisk Venom, Pixie Dust, Dragon Scales, Ground Unicorn Horn, Mermaid Tears and Phoenix Ashes. And the really cool thing about these digis is that when you purchase one, not only do you get the label image all pre-put together, but you also get all of the individual images separately so you can mix and match or use the mythical creatures all on their own.

For my first card I've enlarged the square bottle to fill most of the card front and added the Basalisk Venom Label to it. I then proceeded to color it all up to look like this rare potion ingredient is resting on some kind of curio shelf. I also had fun after it was all colored and put on the card base adding some yellow Nuvo Dream Drops on and around the bottle and it really makes it look like it is owned by a rather messy witch, LOL!

Next, I put together a Pixie Dust bottle, again nice and big to fill the entire card. And this time I not only added some Nuvo glitter drops on the shelf but I also stamped some spider webs in the corners. So not only is our witch messy with her ingredients but she also isn't too keen on dusting and cleaning either. If you would like to watch the coloring of this card there is a short Reel on Instagram and a longer speed coloring over on the Sweet November Stamps YouTube channel.

Finally, it was time to color up some Dragon Scales in their own tall bottle and even more spider webs can be found in this part of the cabinet as well. I also lucked out and found some green plastic flowers in my craft stash that I was able to cut apart and turn into a scattering of scales resting on the shelf... so perfect!

Now be sure to check out the Friends of Sweet November Stamps group on Facebook for even more magic potion labels from the rest of our talented design team. Also, don't forget, I will be coloring Live today at 11am PDT over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page and I hope to see ya there!
