So happy hump day everyone... we're half way through the week and my to-do list doesn't seem to be shrinking as quickly as I would like, oh well. I'll just keep prioritizing and plugging away and hopefully get everything done. I guess that means I shouldn't be dilly-dallying on here too long either so let's get to today's card.

This time I've got Swiss Miss Rosalie sans roses this time but still just as cute if you ask me. :)
I've paired her up with some new My Mind's Eye Be Loved papers and die-cut for a fresh twist on the Valentine's look... that teal just makes everything pop... love it!
I was reading Traci's blog and how she is making an effort to finally cut into all those pretty papers she loved and had to have but then never touched and I'll be the first to admit that I've fallen into this trap as well, so I'm really trying to use it as I get it this year. Granted, this is going to add to my scrap bags but I'll just have to keep up with that personal challenge too so things don't get too out of control. Guess that just means I need to step up my card making... ;)

Waz up peeps?!
I'm afraid it's another post and run day for me... so much to do, so little time it seems.
So my card today is for this week's Kraftin Kimmie challenge to paper piece an image. I was in a twisty kind of a mood so the funky Moonlight Whispers chicas were just calling out to see some ink. I went with Francesca for this card and paper pieced her hat and dress. I also cut off the cupcakes she was holding because I thought her hand looked like she was snapping her fingers now and I've been wanting to use up this rub-on sentiment that's been in my stash for a while. :)
I figure this will make for a fun be-lated birthday card... not that I'm admitting to ever being anything but punctual in my snail mail correspondence... yea, right! LOL ;)

Hola chicas!
Here we are at the first full week of the new year... let's hope it's a good one. :)
I promise not to talk your ear off today... gotta keep it short and sweet as I'm heading off to work and the post office soon.

So I was lucky enough to have Christine send me a couple of her new Swiss Miss Rosalie stamps to play with and as you can probably tell I got a bit carried away with the whole Valentine's theme. This card is like a little love explosion, LOL! But hey, I can't think of a more appropriate holiday to go all out with the froof and frill on. ;)
This lovely little lady is Rosalie with Roses and she is part of the All That Scraps January release (along with Chanter Heartsong) that went live in the store last night, yeah! Lot's of cute stuff there I tell ya. :)

All this talk of guest dt spots leads me to my last big announcements of the day... recently Christine, the illustrator of CC Designs stamps and owner of All That Scraps, has decided to make Traci (wickedpixie) the first official designer for Sweet November Stamps! I am over-the-moon excited to have her working her magic with my stamps every month as she is an amazing talent and just the sweetest gal to boot! :)
This wonderful turn of events has opened up the opportunity for me to create a monthly guest designer spot for Sweet November... here are the deets:

Each month that Sweet November has a stamp release I will choose someone to send that entire release to and they will post cards and/or projects on their blog during sneek peak week. I will also have a little feature of them right here during that week as well. :)
How do you get a chance at playing along you ask? It's simple... show me what you've been creating with my stamps! Hey girlfriend!

Good morning!

It's been snowing like crazy here the last few days but even though it definitely looks like a winter wonderland out there, all cold and white, I'm in the mood for COLOR! So when I saw the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #39 photo for this week it was the perfect fit for how I'm feeling. The mix of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with the pops of fun bright colors gave me the excuse I needed to ink up my new Mo Manning stamp that I got at ATS. Isn't it fun? I know Mo has a bunch of digi images but I'm a very happy girl if I can get an actual 'in-my-hands-won't-get-lost-when-the-computer-crashes' stamp. ;)
So the stamp may be new but I got to go WAY back in my stash for this 'old as the hills' but still much beloved KI Memories Birthday paper. The colors were just spot-on matches to the cupcake inspiration... gotta love it when that happens, it totally justifies hanging onto it for years. :)

Kickin' off the new year

Good morning and welcome to a brand new decade! I have a feeling it's going to be a wild ride! :) And what better way to start off the year than with a weekend full of TGF fun?

It's release day at the Greeting Farm and the four little Wild Sprouts that are so near and dear to my heart are finally going to be available for purchase in the store at 9 am CST. And if that's not exciting enough for you, today also marks the grand opening of the brand new Club Anya & Friends Challenge blog! To kick things off there, we will be hosting an entire day of challenges beginning at 9 am CST, so be sure to come on over and party with us! Oh and did you see the changes I made to little Ruby on my card today?
