Love ya...

Olo!

I'm up on the TGF blog today and you may have noticed that I've been in full Valentine's Day card making mode lately so when it came time to create for this post I went back to the big Anya Combo kit to see if any of those beauties would work within that love theme. Not only did I find this saucy winking Anya with heart buttons on her sweater, but the sentiment and floating heart stamps are also part of the kit. Unfortunately, this big kit is now sold out in the TGF store but Marie is always open to suggestions for future Farmer's Markets, if you missed out this first go-round. To fill out the space behind Anya I wanted to create a lush flower bed, so again I went to the digital stamps section of the store and found the Just Married set. This set has a bunch of pretty, individual blossoms to choose from and I grabbed three to play with. I was sure to vary the size and direction of each bloom to have them look as natural as possible in the flower bed behind Anya. From there it was time to color and I based my primary shade of pink off of the pink ink that I stamped the sentiment with, called Sweet Blush. The warm, rosey hue was paired with a bold navy blue skirt for a touch of contrast that would help Anya stand out against all of the pink flowers surrounding her. Once I was done coloring I used a pretty banner die to frame this sweet scene and the card was complete.

Have a wonderful week and stay crafty my friends!  :)
