Rock the crown...

 Hello friends!

Are you ready for another Vault release at Sweet November Stamps?
We went back to January 2011 and found the beautiful Fairytale Princesses who seemed ready for a bit of a revamp and re-release. Not only that but we also added a whole new princess as well as some fantastic background builders to help set the perfect fairytale scene.

My card today is a slimline pairing Princess Lillianne with the new waterfall castle that is part of the
Castle Scene Builder set. Forget fancy balls and pining away in towers for Prince Charming... Lillianne may be royalty but she is a girl of action and adventure! She would much rather be exploring dragon caves, taunting trolls and braving fairy rings. Lillianne isn't afraid to hike up her skirts and get a little dirty during her adventuring, in fact the only thing she is afraid of is her Queen mother trying to wrangle her into a restrictive corset and glass slippers!

Now be sure to go check out the Friends of Sweet November Stamps group on Facebook for even more Fairytale Princess inspiration from Caitlin, Melissa and our amazingly talented guest designer, Marina Vazquez!

I will also be coloring Live this morning at 11am PST on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page.

You can also find us on Instagram @sweetnovemberstamps and don't forget to use the #sweetnovemberstamps any time you share a card or project using SN images so we can see all of your beautiful makes!

More naps...

TGIF!

With limited crafting time yesterday another one of those BIG Anita Jeram stamps from Colorado Craft Company was calling to me.This sweet image is called Puppy's Quilt and you can see how much space of an A2 card front that it takes up. Being the animal lover that I am, I instantly fell in love with this sleeping pup all snugged up on the bed. It's a scene that I'm all too familiar with and it never ceases to make my heart happy. The bedding got a rather girly color scheme and I gave the pup a pink collar to match. To be honest, I kinda wish I could curl up under that quilt and go back to bed too, LOL!

Just an FYI, there will be a new Vault release at Sweet November Stamps tomorrow and once again I will be coloring Live on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page tomorrow morning at 11 am PST. Hope to see you there!

You're the coolest...

Hello friends!

I just wanted to let everyone know that after selling out in record time the Frosty Feet stamp set is back in stock at Sweet November Stamps. We've also added more of the Drop It Like It's Cold set as well so if you missed grabbing these lively snowmen on release day you have a second chance to add them to your stamp stash. Not only that but the special deal is still in place so if you buy both clear sets you can get the coordinating Snowman Sentiment digi set. for free.

In honor of the re-stock I've made a couple more cards using both sets. The Dance card above finds an exuberant snowman from the Frosty Feet clear set, leaping and dancing with a couple of his forest friends. The cute little break dancing hedgehog and the booty shaking bluejay both have some cool moves of their own. I've also made a card using the Drop it Like it's Cold set featuring this super cool snowman tap dancing through the snow with his raccoon pal. :)

Ok, time for me to scoot my boot and get this day going... so much to do, so little time! LOL

Laters!

Fills my heart...

Olo!

This Bubble Love digi from Mo's Digital Pencil was just way too cute to not get on a card in time for Valentine's Day. So I printed her out and got to work coloring. To save some time on the background I grabbed a brick patterned stencil from My Favorite Things and used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to create the wall behind her. Though I did use my Copics to add some lighter bricks showing though the heart bubble. The rest of the background was just as quick and easy with the simple sidewalk and asphalt that she is resting on. Proof that a cute scene card doesn't have to take hours to create. ;)

Talk at'cha later!

I miss your face...

Hello there!

I'm a big fan of the lovely Girl stamps from Felicity Jane and collect a new one every month. Unfortunately, as I discussed in a previous post, they are some of the stamps that I rarely find time to actually ink up. So this is me still working towards my goal of getting more of my stamp stash onto cards. Krystal Girl is actually my newest Felicity Jane stamp as she just released at the beginning of the month so getting her colored up in the same month is a big improvement, LOL! I paired her with the Whimsy Stamps Winter Woods background which gave her the perfect home to live in, plus it's another stamp finally getting some love so win/win.  :)

Alrighty, I've got to run... thanks for stopping by!

Warmest Thanks...

Good morning!

A couple weeks ago I colored a scene that combined two of the newest Hello Bluebird stamp sets, My Snowman and Feed the Birds. At the time I also stamped up a second scene combining different stamps from the two sets. Yesterday I finally got the chance to sit down and get that second scene colored up. This time I've got the sweet girl from the My Snowman set joining the short haired cutie from the Feed the Birds set. Together they are trying to feed some birds but it looks like the mischievous squirrels are helping themselves to the seeds instead. The sentiment was borrowed from the Frosty Mornings set and stamped in a light blue so that it kinda blended in with the snow. I know I keep saying it but playing with different stamp set combos totally makes me happy!  :)

Have a great week!

A snow happy day...

Hello again!

The fun Winter Kids were released from the Sweet November Stamps vault yesterday and I shared Tess and Zach in my post.Today I wanted to make sure the other two kiddos got the spotlight shined on them so please say hello to Georgia and Max.

Little miss Georgia with her sled was the subject of my Live coloring video yesterday and once again we had a great time. I always love getting suggestions for hair and outfit colors and it was fun to color a steep sledding hill in the background.

I also had time to finish this card featuring Winter Kid Max, who may be a bit naughty if the person on the other side of that snowball he is about to throw doesn't know it's coming, LOL!

Ok, I've gotta run now... I'm back to work today. Take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend. :)
