Olo!
Another day, another Halloween card made for another challenge. This one is for the 'Spookalicious' challenge at Tiddly Inks and I printed out the new Halloweeny Molly for the occasion. I mean who can resist all that glorious hair, it was so much fun to color. She's such a magical little witch that I was inspired to pull out a stencil and inked up a glowing background for her to bask in. Then I added some pretty glitter paper and glitter bats for added sparkle and the card really came together. I think that Molly is sure to cast a spell on anyone who might get this card in the mail. ;)

Happy Birthday...
Good morning!
Did you see the happy news? My wish on Friday's post for Pixie Mermaids from Tiddly Inks has come true in record time! Christy has created a set of six amazing mer pals called Amy and her Mini Mermaid Friends and I'm totally flattered to have inspired these cuties. I love them all so much that I couldn't decide on just one for my card today so I put a group of them together and created a little mini mermaid party. I mean seriously, how cute are they?! I'm also entering this card into the current "tingo challenge" with a pattern paper, Tiddly Inks image, distressing combination.
Big HUGE thanks to Christy for making this mermaid obsessed crafter a very happy girl. :)

Hi-ya sweets...
Hello, hello!
Things are heating back up in my neck of the woods so this seemed to be the perfect time to play along in the "Summer Song" challenge over at Tiddly Inks. I was inspired by the old Diamond Rio song, Sweet Summer... especially the first verse;
"He had a freezer full of bomb pops
push ups, drum sticks and dreamcicles.
And a paint chipped change box
full of sticky quarters, dimes and nickles.
It was automatic when we heard that song
run home and get your money before he's gone..."
This Wryn from the Sweets for my Sweet set totally embodied that memory of buying ice cream from an ice cream truck on a hot summer afternoon. Especially when I paired her up with this paper from Doodlebug's Sunkissed collection... talk about setting the scene, LOL! All I needed to add was the sentiment in a little word bubble and I had a finished card. :)
Alrighty, thanks so much for stopping by. I'll catch ya later!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- Doodlebug (Sunkissed)
stamps- Tiddly Inks (Sweets for my Sweet set), Papertrey Ink (sentiment)

Make a wish...
Hey there!
I recently took advantage of a sale over at Tiddly Inks and got my hands on this fabulous Willow Fairy stamp and a couple of her friends. She arrived in my mailbox this past weekend and I just had to get her on a card right away. So I inked Willow up and decided to check out the current Tiddly Inks challenge before getting started on my card. The theme is 'May Flowers' which is nice and broad so of course I'm going to play along. I know that the print on the paper I pulled is technically dandelions but hey, one person's weed is another person's flower... LOL! Seriously, my backyard is full of the little yellow blossoms no matter what I do so I'm counting it as a May flower. ;)
Alrighty, time for me to mosey. I've got one day off and hopefully enough hours to get everything I need to get done, done.
Laters!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- Jillibean Soup (Cold Avocado Soup)
stamps- Tiddly Inks (Willow Greeting Fairy), Hero Arts (sentiment)
ink- Memento tuxedo black, Colorbox creamy brown
My Favorite Things scallop border die
Papertrey Ink word bubble die

Berry much...
Hi-ya!
I made today's card to join in the current Tiddly Inks challenge, 'So Sweet'. I had this raspberry paper from Jillibean Soup and wanted to pair it with this small canning jar die from Memory Box. Then I grabbed my Peachy Pixie rubber stamp, which is technically from Stamping Bella, but the digi version is available in the Tiddly Inks store. I cut her away from the branch she is originally sitting on and placed Peachy on my sentiment strip instead. Sure she is tiny but it totally looks like she is enjoying some sweet raspberry jam... yummm! ;)
Alrighty, I'll see y'all again tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by! :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- Authentique (yellow polka dot), Jillibean Soup (raspberries), Imaginisce (pink stripe)
stamps- Stamping Bella (Peachy Pixie), Papertrey Ink (sentiment)
ink- Memento tuxedo black, Studio Calico flamingo, Colorbox creamy brown
My Favorite Things stitched circle die
My Favorite Things mini delicate doily die
Memory Box mason jar die
Memory Box flower dies
Memory Box leafy foliage dies
Kaiser Craft pearls
Copic markers:
skin- E000, E00, E11, R00, R20
hair- E35, E57, E49
clothes/wings- R35, RV25, RV29, YG0000

Somebunny...
Hello, hello!
My Easter card today features Wryn from the Somebunny clear set over at Tiddly Inks. Because she came with all those extra bunnies, of course I had to stamp them into a whole scene to be front and center in this design. Wryn is such a super cutie and I had so much fun coloring her in these slightly brighter than pastel colors that were pulled directly from this old KI Memories paper. Sigh... KI may have been defunct as a company for years and years now but I still adore everything they ever made. Which, silly as it seems, sometimes makes it hard for me to actually cut into the papers that I still have. Happily, I feel that this card turned out KI worthy, LOL! ;)
I'm also playing along in the "charming" challenge at the Tiddly Inks challenge blog with this card. Luckily for me I still have a bunch of random charms that I got a decade ago from one of those QVC scrapbooking shows. It's been a long wait but this Easter Egg charm has finally fulfilled its crafty destiny, LOL!
Ok, time for the usual get ready for work morning routine.
Have a good one everybody!

Have my heart...
Hey there!
I hope you aren't getting tired of Valentines because this entire week is going to be dedicated to getting the last of my happy heart day cards up on the blog before the big day on Saturday.
Today's card features the Loving Pixie digital stamp from Tiddly Inks and I'm entering it into the Tingo challenge over there as well. Tingo is Tiddly Inks Bingo and I went diagonal across the board to use dies and ribbon with Loving Pixie. For the dies I used a stitched circle from MFT and some Mini Hearts from Simon Says. I covered the hearts with glossy accents to give them a nice shine. And the ribbon is pretty obvious with that big bow right above Loving there. The paper is more Hugs and Kisses from Simple Stories and I'm really diggin' that black thrown into the mix. It makes for a pretty and modern looking Valentine's Day card. :)
Okey dokey then, I'm going to get ready for the day.
TTYL!

Dazzling day...
Hellooo Friday!
Is everybody workin' for the weekend? I'll be busy working through most of it, though with the Seahawks in the Superbowl again it feels like the entire state of Washington will be shutting down during the big game. I myself am not a sports fan so I'll be finding other things to spend my Sunday doing far away from the madness.
My card today is for the Tiddly Inks Frosty Feeling challenge. I've had Skater Wryn printed out and waiting to get on a card for ages so this was just the challenge I needed to make her happy. I colored her up to match the Snow Fun paper from Simple Stories... have I said how much I love those 4x6 cut a part papers? All you need is one little panel and it creates a quick and easy yet great looking background. It's like it does all of the design work for me, LOL! All I had to add was an old favorite... baker's twine, and a new favorite... sequins, and this card was done. :)
Ok, have a great weekend and I'll catch up with you on Monday. :)

Happy Bee Day...
Hello, hello!
Fantastic news... we were able to bring my mom home from the hospital yesterday and she is looking good. There are still doctors visits in the near future to make sure everything stays on track but here's hoping that we are really nearing the end of this episode and she can finally heal completely. :)
Did you know that All That Scraps is now carrying the Tiddly Inks range of clear stamps? If you've been visiting this blog of mine for any length of time then you know that I'm a big fan of these adorable stamps. So needless to say, I'm pretty excited by this! Seeing all those stamps go up in the shop inspired me to pull out one that I already own and play. But before I got down to it I decided to check out the Tiddly Inks Challenge for some added inspiration. This go round we are to create a card inspired by a movie or book theme. At first I was a bit stumped but when I saw the Happy Bee Day stamp in my stash it all clicked. I've had this sheet of Classic Pooh honey bee paper for ages and it was absolutely perfect for both the stamp and the challenge. I have always loved A.A. Milne's Winnie the Pooh stories so bringing a few of those honey bees to my card was a lot of fun. And I think this Tiddly cutie looks right at home buzzing along with them.
Alrighty, today and tomorrow are my "weekend" and I've got a lot to catch up on. Thanks for stopping by!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- EK Success (Classic Pooh), Basic Grey (brown), The Girls' Paperie (blue)
stamps- Tiddly Inks (Happy Bee Day set), Papertrey Ink (stitches)
ink- Memento tuxedo black and rich cocoa, Colorbox creamy brown

Kaiser Craft gems
Copic Spica glitter pen

Clean and simple...
Hey there!
This one will be a quickie as I'm on the run already this morning... and it's only Tuesday!
I recently took advantage of a sale over at Tiddly Inks and added a couple more of their clear stamps to my little collection. Happy Mail Wryn was one of those new purchases and I thought that it would be fun to use her for an Easter card. The little peep that came with her in the set had me envisioning Wryn surrounded by fluffy Easter chicks. So I stamped him up a few times, snipped the legs off and even turned a couple upside down, drawing on new eyes so I would have them facing both left and right. I kept the layout design clean and simple so that I could enter this into the current Tiddly Inks challenge.
Ok then, I'm off to work. Have a good one! :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It

All about the treat
Good morning!
I'd say TGIF but considering that I'm working both today and tomorrow it doesn't really feel like a true TGIF vibe in my little world. LOL! ;)
I've got another Halloween card to share today but it is definitely on the more cute side of the holiday than some of my other cards have been. I used the adorable Higgelty Witch from Tiddly Inks because she just makes me smile. Probably because I can remember so many different years of dressing up as a witch throughout my childhood... from sweet and cute when I was little to scary and menacing when I was a teen. Heck, I still have a pretty rockin' witches hat, complete with dangling spiders, that I wear when I'm handing out candy on the big night! Good times... good times... :)
And because this week's Tiddly Inks challenge is "Anything Halloween" I'm going to be entering Higgelty into the fun! It's been awhile since I've had time to play along but I always enjoy it when I do.
Alrighty, time for me to go get ready for the day. Hope yours is a great one!

Simple Sunday
Mornin' friends!
I had a lovely day out yesterday. Well, lovely if you don't count the air conditioning going out in the car in 100 degree heat... but it's all good, I made the most of things with the windows down and the Glee soundtrack turned way up, hair blowing in the wind. ;)
It's back to work for me this morning so I've got a simple Sunday card to share and it qualifies for the Tiddly Inks summer fun challenge. I used this super cute Pearl mermaid digi and spent most of my 20 minutes coloring her up. The rest of the card came together super quick since I just grabbed one of the many 3 1/2 x 12 cardstock remnants that I collect when cutting down my cardstock and folded it to make a little notelet sized card. I really need to start making more of these little guys because my cardstock scrap bags are starting to bulge. Anywho, add to that some Doodlebug stickers and this one was done... quick, quick, quick. :)
Hope you have a great day!

Hey there cookie
Hey there... I'm on the run as I've got work, so this is going to be short and sweet. :)
My card today is for this week's Tiddly Inks 'no designer paper' challenge. Now you know me and how much I love my pretty papers so these kinds of challenges always make me scratch my head for a bit. Because I had gone the embossing route earlier in the week I decided to do a bit of stamping to create a background this time. So I mixed things up with some polka dots and extra cookie digi images (that were one of the Tiddly Inks freebies for PCP group members... SO cute) since I liked how they all worked together with the whole circle vibe. And isn't Cookie Bugg adorable? I think I must really have a soft spot for images with sweet treats, LOL! ;)
Well, that's all the time I have this morning... hope you all have a lovely stamp happy day today!

A buggy blog hop
Hey everyone!
Today I'm participating in the very first Tiddly Inks Buggy Blog Hop so if you've come here from Debi's blog you're on the right track.
If not then you may want to head over to the Tiddly Inks blog for the entire list of hoppers because three lucky commenters/bloggers will be eligible to win prizes, ranging from a yummy scrap pack from Betty Boo to gift certificates from Tiddly Inks. :)
My card today uses the adorable Happy Bugg digi and just look at that cupcake! Oy, I seem to be continuing the sweets theme through this week and it's starting to feel like one big tease. ;)
I love vanilla cupcakes with chocolate frosting so I could just imagine the chocolatey goodness when I was coloring this up. I've gotta keep telling myself to be strong Amy, be strong! LOL
I also used fabric strips that I dyed and tied into bows as accents on this so it would work with this week's Tiddly Inks fabric challenge as well. I think they add a festive/birthday present like feel to the card. :)
Okey dokey, your next and final stop in the hop is over to Betty Boo's... thanks for stopping by!

Simple Sunday part deux
Well hello there friends!
Whew, wasn't that a wild few days of new release goodness over at CA&Friends? I sure hope that you all can play along in the Rockin' Rebel contest... it's gonna be a cool one! :)
Last Sunday I shared a quick and easy card and I got to thinking afterwards that it could be fun to turn each Sunday's post into a 'Simple Sunday' theme. This works well with my schedule and how busy the weekends usually are for me. So from here on out every Sunday I'm going to share a card that takes 20 minutes or less to create... coloring included. Cute cards make me happy and if I can get them done quick I'm even happier! ;)
So here is this week's simple card... I used a 'new for me' Bugg digi from Tiddly Inks that my pal Donna totally enabled me into getting... she's notoriously good at doing that, LOL! :)
A big part of my quick cards is using images that don't require a lot of coloring and these cuties definitely fit the bill. The rest of the card comes completely from my scrap bags and what was around and on my desk. Having to use just what is within arms reach really narrows things down and speeds up the entire process for me.
I'm also entering it into the Tiddly Inks Challenge for Mother's Day cards this week. My mom loves her flowers and her gardens and of course I'm always convinced that they are the perfect homes for the little wee folk to reside in so she should get a kick out of this card. :)
Alrighty, time for me to get ready for work.
Toodles!
