Merry Christmas...

Good morning!

I finally got a chance to ink up another one of the darling new Anita Jeram stamps from Colorado Craft Company this weekend and are any of you surprised that I went with the naughty Christmas Tree Cat? None of my kitties have ever been tempted to try and climb my Christmas tree when it goes up. Instead they are quite content to lay in their window seat that is next to it and casually knock any ornaments off that are within batting reach, LOL! As careful as I try to be you can always count on finding one or two ornaments down on the ground at the end of each day. This stamp is actually quite large so I decided to put it on a tall slimline card, giving the design plenty of room to breathe. I kept the background really simple with a faux watercolor effect while giving the stars of the show plenty of contrast and detail to help them stand out. There is actually a lot of sparkle and shine added to the ornaments and gifts in the scene but the pics don't pick it up too well. Still, I'm super happy with this fun Christmas card and I can't wait to play with more of these sets!  :)
Later gators!

This is too cute. 2e use to have a beagles that was incredibly naughty and use to do this. We put bells in the bottom of the tree, to act like an early warning system for us, so we could get to her before she caused much damage.
