Joy to the world

Good morning!

Well, the snow keeps piling up around here and the high today is forecast to be a whopping 13 degrees... brrrrrrrrrrrrrr! You can be sure that I'll be bundling up all nice and cozy before heading off to work this morning. :)

And it's Glee night tonight! I sure hope it's a new episode... I can't remember the previews for sure but I'll be so disappointed if it is a re-run. And do you think there will be a Christmas episode featuring some of the new Christmas songs? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that!

Today's Christmas card is certainly different from most of the ones I've made so far... the traditional red and green combo is no where to be seen! I actually colored up this super cute Lili of the Valley image before picking out papers, which I almost never do, so I was kinda stumped when it came time to put this card together. I decided to delve into my Christmas stash of papers and found this old Flair paper that looks like a bible page and I finally got my "A-ha" moment. Because it was so perfect with the image I decided to keep the rest of the card design nice and simple. I think this is one that my Grams will really like. :)

Okey dokey, chat at'cha later my friends!

Oh my.... 13 degrees? Sorry. Hope you'll be nice & cozy bundled up. Your card is stunning! The image is colored so beautifully and the that 'bible' PP is lovely for it! I think they said it's a new episode -- can't remember if it's the Carol Burnett one??

oh I do love the non traditional colors, especially with this adorable image! That DP is sooo pretty! And wow to snow - we are hitting a high of almost 70* here, the weather is confused. ;) Happy day Amy!

Oh Amy, I love this! I love, love the papers and I really love your stamp. I have a thing for lambs and sheep and this is just perfect! Great coloring. What can I say we are in the middle of the blizzard over here. The wind has been blowing at about 30mph since yesterday at 1pm and it is still going strong. Thanks to that and all the snow we are sitting at a chilly -10 degrees this morning. The kids and Jerry are all going to be home today and I am getting ready for work. Jerry is the one however that has already started my car and is trying to clear a path. :O) Drive safe and have a great day. Hugs, Lisa

BRRRR.....would you believe I have on pair of shorts today? It's going to be 76 degrees on Thanksgiving - doesn't really put you in the mood for the holiday! Very sweet card - love the non-traditional colors.

Amy, this is a truly lovely card! I love it when things come together like that!
So you have the cold and snow, and I have lots and lots of ice! We almost never get "snow days" here because we are so used to the snow, but school is canceled today because of the ice!! :-)Traci
