Believe

Ahhh Saturday... last day of work for the week then two days off. I've got so much to do though that it doesn't quite feel like I'll be taking a break. Oh well, it's just that time of year isn't it? Busy or not though, I'm keeping my spirits up with plenty of Christmas music (lovin' that Glee cd, LOL) and a cuppa hot cocoa in the evenings... yum! :)

My card today is a quick one with not much to it but the paper and my stamped image. But I loved the paper so much with that little silhouette of Santa's sleigh that I didn't want to cover up the scene that it created for this Gorjuss Girl. Speaking of the Gorguss Girl, this is Foxy but I altered her a bit by wiping away the fox that usually sits by her feet and re-drawing in the hem of her coat, skirt and her boots. It's been a while since I pulled out my GGs and it didn't take long for me to want to ink a bunch of them up for Christmas cards once again. Hopefully I'll get time to really play before the big day has come and gone! ;)

Alrighty, time for me to go do the hair and make-up thing... hope you're enjoying your weekend! Oh and there is still time to get your name in the drawings for the Sweet November Snowflake Fairy candies, check them out here, here and here. Also if you head on over the the ATS blog there is a chance to win all three of the new fairies before they go up for sale on Monday. :)

this is beautiful - I don't blame you for not wanting to cover up that silhouette in the moonlight, it's adorable!

Oh Amy, this is so sweet. I love how you discover Santa as you are looking at your card. Talk about perfection. She is just adorable and you really do get the whole picture on this card. You are so talented my friend. I have to tell you that when my alarm went off this morning it actually took me a minute to figure out what day it was.(that's when I know that I am totally worn out..) Anyway, the only reason I bring it up is because for once (like you) I work today and then I will have two days off... Can you hear my happieness from here? Kid's have their choir concert on Monday and I had signed it off two months ago so I am sooo going enjoy Monday. :O) Don't work too hard. Hugs, Lisa

Oh, Amy this is a beautiful scene!!! I LOVE the subtle Santa and reindeer on that paper and how you think of every detail - I absolutely noticed how the snow in your sentiment piece flows into the snow in your main scene! Perfect!
