Hey there!
It's been awhile since we've opened up the Sweet November Stamps Vault and brought back older images, given them an update before re-releasing them as digital stamps. This weekend it's the fun Spring Elves set, that originally released back in 2010, which are making a come back. Included in this release are Spring Elf Blossom, Spring Elf Sprout and the Spring Elf Pals... a bunny, chick and two sentiments.
For my first card I paired Blossom with some older daffodil digis to create a bright and cheery spring scene. By blowing the flowers up so big that they tower over this sweet little elf it really plays with perspective in a fun way.
Next, I paired Sprout with the large bush stamp from the new Horizon Lines: Spring in Bloom set and a couple of butterflies from the Flutterbee Tulia set. He's a busy little elf with the very important job of coloring Easter eggs for the Easter Bunny to hide.
Finally, I paired both the bunny backside with the chick from the Spring Elf Pals set. I added the chick three times, the largest one is closest to the bunny while the other two get gradually smaller, creating a sense of receding distance within the scene. If you would like to watch how this colorful scene came together you can check out the full speed coloring video of this card on the Sweet November Stamps Youtube channel or the short Reel over on Instagram. :)
Now be sure to check out the Friends of Sweet November Stamps group on Facebook for even more Spring Elf cuteness from Caitlin, Faye, Allison, Amanda and Lisa. Don't forget, I will be coloring Live today at 11am PST over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page and I hope to see ya there!
You can also find us on Instagram @sweetnovemberstamps and don't forget to use the #sweetnovemberstamps any time you share a card or project using SN images so we can see all of your beautiful makes!
