Move over Herbie...

a new love bug is in town and her name is Anya. ;)

Greetings and salutations to you this fine Friday.
I told you that you would be seeing Karate Anya's head popping up on some different bodies before too long and now that day has arrived. :)
This first time out I've mixed her not only with Dress Me Anya's body and dress but also Angel Anya's arms to get that great giggly look. Is it weird to say I love an Anya's head? Because I do, LOL... she was so much fun to put together!
The card base is also 'frankensteined' together from a bunch of different pieces in a Basic Grey card kit that weren't necessarily intended to go together but ... what can I say? I like to fiddle with things. :)

And since this week's Anyone for Anya Challenge is 'anything goes', I'm thinkin' this will work for that.

Now, I have to share... sweet miss Donna just gifted me with some Paper Trey Ink cardstock for me to stamp and color on and at first I didn't think it would be that much of a difference from the Georgia Pacific I've been using... I mean, cardstock is cardstock right? WRONG! OMGosh, I started using it yesterday and as I'm coloring there was absolutely no color bleed (something I've had to account for constantly with the GP) and the blends are soooooo smooth! I look at Anya's face and it looks pillow soft... truly, I want to reach out and poke her like the Pillsbury Dough Boy LOL! I love it! And now I'm afraid there will be no going back for me... I'm a PTI convert. Thanks again Donna... I may just have to send you a card so you can see the difference. :)

Alrighty I'm back to the world of all work and no play... well, some play otherwise... uhhh... you know how the rest of the saying goes. ;)
Supply list:
cardstock- Paper Trey Ink
card base, strips, alphas and chipboard ladybug (Basic Grey)

She does look like a cherub....lol...I think you have made need to purchase the karata Anya. I sooo wish she was rubber though. I have never tried the PTI for my Copics. I guess I'll have to give it a try. Have a great day at work. Lisa G

Awwww.....now who doesn't love a cute reference to good ol' Herbie.
Anya is definitely a cutie-pie and I love, love, love how you've made a brand newy all for yourself by mixing a few together.
Gonna be brave enough to do that for myself one of these days.
Hope your day is a great one. Today is my last official holiday (not counting the weekend), back to the grind on Monday. :)
(And Summer has finally arrived down here...just in time for me to miss whilst I'm at work.....bummed.)

She is darling!!! I love how you can do that with TGF images - I was so thrilled when I realized they were all the same size so you could easily transfer items and parts (and I am just twisted enough that I really enjoy cutting them apart and putting them back together again!! Hee Hee!) I am SO glad you got to try PTI!! Nothing else even compares for coloring as far as I am concerened (and I ordered a bit of everything I could get my hands on when I first started Copic coloring!) :-)Traci

Your card is adorable. I may have to try PTI for my Copics as well. I am currently using GP and having the same bleeding issues. Thanks for the tip.

Adorable!! Great altering, as always, and how sweet she is with the flowers in her hair! I use Neenah and PTI, love both!

Jessica Diedrich said...

OMG she is ADORABLE.... Just an FYI, PTI cardstock is Neenah brand, just repackaged, from what I hear. They use the 110 lb, which is wonderful. I actually buy the Neenah 80 lb in White and Cream and i LOVE it. Email me if you want to know where I get it from ;) LOVE what you did w/ her!!! She' SO sweet..a lovebug indeed!

Gosh she is just as cute as a button. I love the flowers in her hair. I also LOVE PTI. I still use Neenah for my images just because the PTI does soak up a lot of marker ink. I also love how your "Lovebug" goes with the love bug paper.
