Spirit and heart

Hiya sweeties!

I'm gonna be super quick today as I've got a lot to do but I just had to share with you all the return of Soldier Ian!
Yep, I missed out on this little guy back when he was part of a larger set that has been retired so I was thrilled to see Marie bring him back as a single... yeah! Soldier Ian will be available at The Greeting Farm along with the rest of the February release on Monday, which isn't too far off now. :)

In the meantime you can also check out the Club Anya blog to see more fantastic examples of Soldier Ian in all his honor and glory as he is representing my Wild Card Wednesday challenge today which is to use metal on a card. I had these 'old-as-the-hills' poetry dog tags in my stash and I just had to pair them up with Ian, though your cards can use any number of metal embellies that are out there... brads, eyelets, charms, pins, you name it! I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

Alrighty, gotta go now but I'll see you tomorrow with another TGF February sneak peek! :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and PTI
paper- The Paper Loft
stamp- The Greeting Farm (soldier Ian)
ink- Memento tuxedo black and Colorbox dark brown ink
Poetry dog tags and ball chain
Sakura clear glaze pen
Copic markers:
skin- E00, E11, R20
hair- E50, E53, E34, E57
clothes- E43, E44, E47, YG63, G94, G99, E40, YG91, E42, YG99, BG93, W5, W7, W9, 100, C1, C3

Ok..I know I say this often but I hope that it doesn't take away from the compliment: this is another one of my favorites, Amy!!! I love the dog tags, and that metaled-look on the paper is perfect! And lastly (& most importantly), I just think that your coloring is soooo AWESOME! At first I thought SI's uniform was pierced but I looked closely...and you colored it!!!! Just wonderful!

PS...thanks soo much for the emails. you are really so thoughtful and sweet! And I saw the blog post this a.m....I'm so happy about the last one!! Yay!!! ;)
