What, no Christmas song?

LOL
Good morning friends!
No Christmas card from me today... I know, I know, I can't believe it either. But I just had to share the card I made for the TGF newsletter digi fairy contest. Last month they issued a challenge to send in a card using one of the fairies for a chance to win a fifth exclusive digi fairy and apparently I was the only one who sent in a card for it. Shock! But if you've read yesterday's newsletter, there's still a shot at getting your hands on Vanity Fairy so start sending in those fairy cards to Jess asap!

I used Winter Fairy and Spring Fairy (though I did flip Spring so that she was facing the direction I wanted) and colored them both to match the funky Basic Grey papers. Winter is on the front flap of the card that I cut short so that Spring on the inside could be seen with her BFF. :)
Oh and I thought it would be fun to note how I did the dangling beads over on the upper left corner... so when I machine stitched the border strip I purposefully left two long threads at the end of the paper when cutting it from the machine. Then it was simply stringing beads and tying knots until I had it the way I wanted it and the movement is a lot of fun in real life.
And as an added bonus I'm going to enter this into the Anyone for Anya bling challenge this week... gotta love it when things work out like that! :)

Alrighty, I'm off to go play in the snow... yea right, more like shovel the car out from all the new overnight snowfall... ;) Supply list:
cardstock- Cardstock Warehouse, GP
paper- Basic Grey (Phoebe)
digi stamps- The Greeting Farm (Winter Fairy, Spring Fairy)
Colorbox chestnut roan chalk ink
Kaiser Craft gems
misc beads
American Crafts sentiment rub-on

hair (winter)- G20, YG11, G24, YG67
